This is going to be my submission for The Ocular Invisible and Neganote's remix competition. I'd love some feedback on it, so thanks in advance!

The only real thing I could say that might need working on right now is the piano, it seems so subtle in the mix that you have to turn all your focus over to hear it, while everything else stands out on a more equal level. Other than that I really like the take on this remix.

Also, I've never heard kickdrums with wide reverb on them but I liked the effect.

I think that might be because of the way I EQ'd it, so I'll definitely look into that, thanks!

First thank you for leaving a critique on mine.

I'll comment as I'm listening, it's sounding premium, the pad's smooth, and like the famisstyle like lead playing over it, and kicks punchy, hats crisp, drum samples are go well together. The bass could be a little lower, (the midbass?) or have some high end knocked off imo, but the kick when it's going 4x4 fills a lot of low end with the reverb. Nice arps backing up the house chordschord progression, love the use of game-y sounds. Noticed the subtle phaser on the chippy sounding pad, it's nice.

Actually this reminds me very much of the originals I make.

I agree with above user the piano chords don't shine through, but they are audible, so it's your choice, maybe you could just up a spot in higher frequency in the spectrum and it'll stand out a bit more, or a tad volume up. But it could stay as is, and remain subtle.

There's room for improvement, s there is for everything, but I'd say it's good now, just some minor polishing and it'll be perfect.

I just noticed the

Thanks! :3
I did some work on the Piano's levels and made a few other small changes, but here's the updated version.
