I was recently accepted into my college of choice, and I will soon be pursuing my Audio Production major.
...wait, what?? I just started making music less than a year ago, and now I'm going to be making a career out of it?
I need to practice.

And thus, this short song was born. It's mixing/mastering practice, so I would looove some feedback in that department. The structure of the song itself is very simple, but I'll take criticism anywhere. ^^

Also, I'm actually quite proud of the bass in this song. I made it myself, yay. Please let me know if it sounds bad. Sound design is probably my worst production skill, and that's saying a lot.

Thanks so much. c:

The attack on the organ is a bit slow, and it just sounds kind of weak. The drums are a pretty good volume, but the samples sound kind of over-processed. The bells are good, they sound good and have a pretty good melody to them. Through the first half of the song, it's kind of lacking in the low end, you might want to add a subtle bass in the low end. The bass you brought in after that sounds kinda meh, I don't really know if that's my preference or not. The actual Mixing/Mastering was pretty good, I think the biggest problem was some of the sound design.

Well, I know what I'm working on next then! I still have to learn how to properly use a couple of the synths I have, in fact, so I'll be looking into that. Sound design is important, and I agree that it's something I could work on.

Most of all it's great to hear that the mixing and mastering worked out okay. Now I can feel secure that the method I'm using works, and it feels nice to know I'm doing something right. c:
