My track is essentially complete, I just need to make the sub powerful without causing it to clip everywhere :S

I think I've got it though

EQ like all of the higher frequencies out of it, slap a compressor on it, maybe put a limiter on it and you should be good. If that doesn't help then try lowering all of the levels of the other channels until you get a mix that doesn't clip, then bring the volume back up with a limiter in the mastering process! :]

Okay ya'll I still am planing on this being a thing and i'm gonna chance the due date for submissions to February 20th. This is so we can all have time to finish our tracks as well as work on any other projects you got going on, I've got way too many and I'm sure you do too.

So anyways here is an update on the track that I am working on, have a listen and let me know what you think!

Dont agree on that. Though it dose come in a bit to fast, Id give it a few more bars to fade in to full volume. (then again, im an idiot who loves bass  )

February 20th

Im OK with that, Im actually working on a 2nd track I might enter. Maby I'll have time to finish both :)

Edit:
It feels good doing shit 6:45 in the morning c:
Progress so far, I think I'm approaching being done...

I actually really like this! lol Sorry, I listened to this a couple days back and I forgot to give some feedback! Anyways first and for most, you need more presence in the bass!!!! You have an awesome chord progress and amazing vibe with this track but after that little build up to the drop I feel like there is something missing. Like that is a spot where you could seriously blow people away if you added a fat sub bass to that mix!

Another thing that I would probably do is add a few more percussion elements to the drum pattern to give a little bit more life as well as side-chain the kick drum so that it pierces through the mix and give you that nice punch in the gut!

VERY IMPORTANT!!!

Okay so here is the deal everyone, Equestrian Hype is going to be hosting/releasing this album project for us. They want to make a teaser video for the album so they can post it on their youtube channel to try to get a decent number of people interested in the album. For this teaser they want to use our WIP's/tracks.

Link to Equestrian Hype's Youtube, http://www.youtube.com/user/EquestrianHype

So what I want you guys to do is to get whatever WIPs/demos that you're most proud of and send them to me at [email protected]. Send them in anyway that you are able to but I would prefer you send me mediafire or box.com download links but whatever works, works. I would also prefer that you send me either Mp3's or Wavs, If you send me Wavs I'll probably end up converting them to mp3 anyways so it doesn't really matter.

Now before we get too involved in this, I just wanted to make sure that you guys are down for this and see what you guys that thought about it. This is a pretty big, and awesome, change and I just wanted to make sure you guys are cool with it!

Oh yeah, I'm completely fine with this! Is there any specific date we need the WIP's or whatnot sent in?

Also, do we even have album art for this?
