I think text is a must but I could easily make it a much smaller portion of the artwork.

But it messed up a damn nice art style inside 'the house'. That, plus the font is rather basic, but I guess you do realize that.

That art inside the house is back, text is less intrusive (font is still up for change unless this one is fine enough), some background stuff just for fun. Still not finished yet so keep telling me what you hate about it (what you like is always nice but I need to know the bad).

If you're going for a rainbow effect it might be good to put the colors in order, ROY G BIV and all that.

How about adding a slight feather to the rainbow noise?

And I still think the font is very basic.

BTW, could you PM me a .psd? I'd like to change it a lil bit for my promo vid (so I can use photoshop layers within AE)

I don't like the title. Way too plain. Try something cool like the album "The Platinum Unicorn Collection". Now there's a fucking sweet title for a compilation. How about something along those lines?

Another art work post, yay~

I think I have narrowed it down to two ideas unless someone else has a better cover in mind (if you do please post it). One is a busy idea with lots happening the other is about as minimal as I want to go.

Oh? Well if thats the case I'll make a design and a video design so when you mix it and say want to throw it up (the mix i mean), there can be a nice lookin design people can look at.
Also...should finish up that track and psosibly do another. Sometimes I wish music was my full time =P

I still got a backup song though, but it's not nearly as good... Yet.

So, how's everyone else's tracks doing?

Thanks! There are still a few fixes that have to be done before I can send it in as a submission, though. Besides the obvious pre (FL looping issues due to delay effects) and post-song issues, I still need to fix the last (5:28) volume drop, as there's a weird hat-like click when it kicks back in. Annoys the heck outta me.

You must submit two versions of your song: one with drums and one without.

Still trying to figure out why would you want a track w/o drums. Perhaps you need to clarify this? I do get the point of drum-only track (visualizers), but not synth-only.

I have no idea why they need a version without drums, but I don't think it's drum-only.
Like, you would submit your full song with everything, and then submit the full song without the drums. Is that right, or do I have no idea what i'm saying?

Yep, that's how it goes. I think it's so 4th can mix better, but I really don't know how to DJ :3

4th, let me know if you'd like an extended mix (with outro), or what I have posted on the previous page is fine. I know what DJs like, and it's usually a drum/bass pattern at the end to mix with an intro of another song.

The two versions I want are the full track and track with everything besides the kick and snare. This will help me make a more professional sounding mix during the transitions. The goal would be to have one track playing the outro drums while I bring in the next tracks synths and soon after I would switch over to the full track.

Proper DJ intros and outros would help immensely so please add them (if you don't know much about this then youtube or google it). If you don't include them I will still use your track (if its good quality like the rest) but the end product will suffer in quality.
