I wasn't serious about House Party :3
I'm fine with just 'Community House Mix' or something

I like it, I would make it more 'neon' like and would remove the grunge stuff in the foreground. Do you want to work on the art because I can spend the day getting something near complete you can use on your song.

Nah, you can go ahead if you want - even using my general idea if you DO like it. I've been a busy man lately, so you helping me out would definitely benefit both of us (especially since my photoshop skills are super-limited)

Good thing I'm supposed to be doing stuff other than music.

Oh yes, so good. Are we going to have the words on it, like "Community House Mix" across the top or something?

Once we figure out what we are calling it exactly then I'll add words of some kind

I think we need to come up with a proper name pretty soon, unless we're using the house community mix thingy name :3

Pretty nice. I think the background could be a little more interesting though.

Its still a concept at the moment, it is very empty feeling still but I have some ideas I will try over the weekend. I am considering making a 3D house with the rainbow outline over top of the reflecting water effect.

I know a really good graphic designer. He makes insanely professional designs, but they aren't free (and it's about a 1-2 week wait). Here's his page: http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/CP-Des ... 70?fref=ts
Just in case anyone needs a design.

I don't suppose it is, but most album artwork has some text on it somewhere.
Couldn't the design be influenced by the house genre? Like isn't it supposed to be a lot more minimal that most other genres?

I dunno.

I think text is a must but I could easily make it a much smaller portion of the artwork.

I won't pay someone for making an album cover for a free album, if I was to make a profit off of it than I would turn to someone like him but as Sonarch said his designs displayed are a lot more 'dubstep/hard dance' oriented.

I wasn't saying we need to use him for this, since we already have someone working on it. I was just posting him here in case anyone wanted a professional design, not necessarily for this project.
