Yes. I listened to deadmau5's "October," and that's sorta where the inspiration came from. I also really like his older stuff, as well as some of his newer stuff.

The name is also that because I started to make it when my brother kept complaining about that "one book" he had to read in class (Of Mice and Men). Then, "Of Mice and Mares" just popped into my head, so I thought "eh, why not?"

Maus is a book in the same series as "Of Mice and Men" and that's what I was referring to :P
But Mr. Mau5 is awesome too :)

If you think this is bad, then you have a terrible taste in music. I think we would not get along well, then.

I love the genre...I'm all about EDM..but that WIP sucks ass.
That's what I meant.

Then you have a bad taste in the genre.

A Christmas Medley. I don't think I'm doing another medley any time soon, because it's taking me much longer than it should.

It needs a trance bassline. Then it's a sweet track. Also, try making it a bit faster, and either change or remove that weird sound that comes in at 34 seconds.

VSTi: NI Massive 1.3
Plugins: Not many

What's the waveform? It sounds like a square to me, but I can't get it to sound anything like what you've got. Also, feel free to ask if you have any questions with Massive, as I know my way around it pretty well

2 Vintage saws, both normal, sync, one add and one pm. 2 LFOs (Sine^2 and Sine^4), set to time morph, lowest time, highest speed and amount. I had some pretty basic envelopes affecting the pitch a bit. Then there's some cross delay, portamento, and reverb.

I don't really know my way around Z3Ta, so I was kind of just turning knobs and such, seeing what they did :3

Remember that Christamas medley I was working on? Not anymore; it was taking me forever, so I just decided to do a Eurobeat remix of "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing."

same with this
I listen to trance on radio whenever I'm in the car with my mother, so I'm afraid if this just sounded good because I'd heard it before. But I did get it from just playing around with random notes for half an hour or so, so I don't know.

Here's just about all my cynicism toward the human race in one track. And no, it has nothing to do with December 21.

So far, the best thematic push I can think of is a melismatic Asian string solo alongside the Assassin's Creed dialogue. Anyone got better ideas?

In addition to the new Sorrowseed album, I just wrote a bluesy, funeral doom, country-ish song for Applejack. :D
