Kay, this is my first actual attempt at ambient. I was going to do dark ambient, but felt like doing something more uplifting after watching a long playthrough of Journey for the PS3. Let me know what you guys think of this.

Wow, many thanks man. I wasn't sure about how to blend in the kicks cause they did sound pretty off when I threw them in, but a highpass filter would definitely fix it, and doubling it. I'll give that a try.
Thanks for the great advice. I also wasn't sure if ambient used multiple pads cause the ones I've heard sounded like they were all the same pad, but yeah can't get anywhere not trying something different so back to the studio =P.

Oh yeah, how was the mixing/mastering for this? Been having some issues trying to keep it not peaking above 0dB and...yeah no idea about the mixing bit. Should get some studio monitors soon.
