My remix of TeiThePony's Celestia's Last Stand. It's an amazing song, I personally don't think I did it justice, which is partially why I'm not submitting it to the remix war.

Composition-wise, I think this is excellent. I'm not familiar with the original, so I don't know how much of the melodies are yours, but I can say those synths compliment each other nicely and the drum line is very fitting.

Mix-wise, it can use a bit of work. Right off the bat, the kick has a bit too much high end and doesn't come through too well on the low end. Starting around 0:27, there's a whole lot of cool stuff going on but you can't really pick apart the individual sounds, and that fitting drum line is covered up by all the synths where it feels like it should stand out more than anything else. This happens throughout the entire song with the exception of the more mellow parts (1:20-1:50, etc.). Also, maybe it's just me (these headphones aren't the greatest) but the whole thing seems to be lacking in sub bass. Again, that might just be me, so you might want to get some second opinions on that.

This is already really cool. With a bit of EQ-work and such, this could be something seriously awesome. But I'm the last person you'd want to ask about specifics EQing is definitely not my forte.

Yeah, mixing is something that I'm quite unfamiliar with, and EQing is something I just recently started to learn. I'll probably come back and remaster this after looking up a few tutorials or something. Also, you just reminded me that I forgot a sub. Since my headphones aren't the greatest I tend not to think about that much, then end up forgetting it
