<pony><background/ambient>Winter Has Been Wrapped

I've been playing around with MIDI a lot lately, and I did this arrangement based on the progressions and melodies on Winter Wrap Up.

Its a nice to track to listen too, I enjoyed it.

As for criticism the diffrent parts alone sound boring and uninteresting, they take very little space in the stereo image so it make sit sound way to simple and static. Some well designed reverb and delays panned around could really help bring life to the track. That and some small eq boosts on each sound to give them a bit more character would help this track greatly.

You're totally right. I completely forgot to do anything with EQ before I bounced this track. Though I was really trying to make the parts as minimalistic as possible, since they are most likely going to wind up as a music track in a game. My goal was to create something ambient that didn't distract from the main focus. But I will definitely go back and mess around with some EQ and mix it better. Thanks for the criticism, and thanks for listening!

Since its background music your going for then this track is perfect, I think the piano could be a little more preset but thats only a small thing.
