Great work! Some great things are going on in this, and the melody and lyrics work great! The one thing I'd suggest if you want to continue working on this is varying the backgrounds a bit from verse to verse. maybe drop out the percussion for one verse, or add in some more background lines during another, but try to make each one different from the rest. That way, you can keep the audience's attention better, and make a better song with more content.
