<Pony><Original> The Melancholy of Spike

Sounded like my track was a rousing failure at TB so I wanted to post it here for suggestions, feedback and whatnot.

Thanks.

Hmm I wonder if the earlier Toastbeard brings more angry critics. My one bad reception was the earlier sync. That said I don't think my track was that epic on reflection and this is kind of a bit...generic too. This kinda fits into a pianocore genre that amateur DAW users seem to use. Its just a bit too much default instruments or midi simplicity. It needs some better vsts and more of a true form. Consider this a WIP perhaps and see what you can do with a bit more development. A sample or two couldnt hurt if you wanna consider it.

I'm using Massive for most of my sounds, I guess I don't really know how to make them sound less midi... I'll work with it though.

i made another post about over here about some tracks by some new musicians.

its important to know that if your track isn't there yet and you don't have the techniques down YET that they can come with further work, better techniques, and most importantly practice. Don't get down on yourself, look at it as just a need to work on various things you need to add to your music. Likely it will be some months before you feel your work will be solid but that's no reason to stop doing it.
