So I found a guy that I can take to the convention. So we're going to hit the convention by day and hit black ops 3 by night.
(Also I have to drive 5 hours to pick him up. And then 5 back. Then I'll take him home after the convention. Another 10 hour round trip. Not sure if I'm excited about that part.)

Is there anyone out there who can play drums? I need some drums for my track

Use samples/plugins, rigging a drum set takes a ton of time and I doubt anyone here just has a rigged drum set ready and dusting.
If you record it in midi and then just correct any bad velocity you should get a good enough sound provided you have good samples/plugins.

I've got a ticket to BUCK now :3 Hotel and plane and all that... Almost $500 total :'( and that's still just with a standard all days ticket. It's gonna be totally worth it though!

Someone at my work decided it would be a good idea to put grease in my door handle. Like, the shit that is for big heavy equipment and that will stain clothing and carpet (like my clothes and the carpet inside of my car)
Not many things actually make me mad on the spot. But this one really escalates my intensity of my anger.
I don't think I have been actually angry in months until this happened.

Also... Not vending or performing are real bad reasons not to go to conventions imo. If you can't afford/ don't wanna pay that much it's a good reason, but not vending or performeng :/ Most con goers don't. The point is fun, friends, and being weird with other weird people.

Been experimenting a lot with this today and the past couple of days. The 'lap steel' is actually my stratocaster, but I'm playing it like a lap steel because I can't afford an electric one XD.

So I've been working on this beauty. It's all unmixed except the kick as it was clipping badly due to there being 2 (kick in Kick out). Everything is acoustic/analog except for the drum machine. And the bass is a fretless that's got some wacky processing on it (not a synth pedal)

I just wanted to give a more diverse feel to my works since if I want to expand as an artist, I can't be afraid of trying something new. The original tile was gonna be "Original" or "Park Avenue." I had probably dozens of cover art for this album made, but didn't fit in. So I was watching Akame ga Kill one day on Kissanime and watched the entire subbed version. One episode got to me and it was Leone's death. Henceforth the album titled "Don't Cry For Me" because that's what kept playing in my head over and over again. Two reasons is because even though she died, she didn't want people to feel sad for her no matter what. The second reason is because I had someone close to me almost die and he actually said the words "stop being a baby" and I put my tears away. This album in general isn't sad at all, though. It's just what I felt like making at the time, though "Breakfast At Haqua Do Rotto's" was inspired by the anime "The World God Only Knows" and "Breakfast At Tiffany's (both the movie and the song by Deep Blue Something)

Spoiler B.A.T.S.:

It was the first track I made for the album and I wanted to give it that fast paced AMV feel you alway get when you watch a certain AMV. The title came to me in the "Bats!" episode of My Little Pony. Instead of it being about Fluttershy, it was actually about a kid who is trapped in his video game systems. He races to get out, but has to go through monsters, gangsters, even Duke Nukem himself. It was silly intentionally and I wanted to make it sound fun.

Also the funniest thing happened today. So last afternoon at college a few of my classmates found out I am a brony when another classmate who already knew mentioned it, with the most hilarious laughing "oh god why" faces, and the neccesary question "do you have dolls at home?"
So every night after college (monday and wednesday) I sleep away from home, and the lady I sleep at (good acquaintance of us) told me that she and her daughter got something for me on their trip in France.
