I smell a conspiracy! Flao is the only real mod, and just lets the other mods think they are mods, when infact they are alien testsubjects, with slit pupils and seven genders! All at once! All for the purpous of luering users to secret underground facilities where they are fed to the shark-human hybrid researchers, ploting to create more shakrpon hybrids, so Flao won't be so lonley.

On a non-pony note I have to feel bad that I slept through Death Grips existence. i saw the hype on another forum for so damn long but never checked them out until last week. Once I heard they were an industrial hip hop act i gave them a chance as i like both genres. I can see why many hip hop heads just don't get them but they're a perfect mesh of the two in my book. "I've Seen Footage" was the jam that really grabbed me from the start and the rest of the Money Store, while more abrasive, just began eventually clicking. Ex-Military I'm beginning to get into as well and I just may track down the rest of their catalog gems since they seem to sprinkle some on even their latter albums.

They're just so different from what everyone else was doing and just so chaotic and raw i have to think they'll have a continued presence in music circles even if they have walked away. I think it's incredibly exciting to see such an act existed just a short while ago and make such an impact in just a few short years.

So today I spent a huge chunk of money on paint supplies and a couple of canvases. Like, the more professional canvases.

It's crazy how much you can make for some fairly simple stuff in the brony fandom... And in general if you have the right croud.
I made 4 tails for a brony meet up auction, just from yarn and a hook. I spent maybe $30 om the materials, les than an hour making them infront of mlp episodes the night vefore the auction, and then I made like... $250! Not complaining! I spent like... 100 of these dollars in the same auction... And for the rest of the money ima buy a Lyra Seapony plushie :P Just saying... Bronies at cons/meets pay!

Also, yea, it's pricy. But at the same time, I look all over and it's cheaper than other paintings for sure. Some go for over $150
Really this is just like this because the cost of the materials are expensive. A canvas costs about $30-38 alone

Sure. But this is a very lowdetail painting, even for a stencil. This didnt take you that much work, its just tracing a vector. The edges arent very sharp either (Can tell by the closeups), so quality is pretty low.

Like, Im not saying you shouldnt be proud of your work, and I support all artistic effort, really just trying to give advice here. But do you honestly believe this is a fair price for the work? And do you think anybody will purchase it for the price?

Like... this is half of what you're wanting, and they're in the same sort of minimalistic style. Posters are even less, which is what people usually go for.

but also, you should consider that the reason those pieces of work in your examples are also very very small.
The twilight one is 13 by 18cm and the trixie one is only 10 by 10 cm.
The cost of those canvases are likely in the range of 3-6 bucks.

I think im going to reduce price a lot on mine though lol

Remember the golden rule of cash flow! How much it's worth is in the eye of the beholder! (i just made that up)
If someone wants to pay that much, ypu can eother take it as a compliment, or you can say it's their problem :P

4 realsies tho. Although I wouldn't pay $50 for em, they do look pretty good. Maybe a bit overpriced, I'd say $40 probably... Or maybe auction it out... Don't be so negative Eery.

As for Eerys critique... If you apply it to my sales... Yeh... A tail maid of yarn in 20 min shouldn't go for $50... But hey, It was an auction! I ain't complaining!

Well they are all currently rices at $40 now. I would have changed it to auction but it wouldn't let me change that.
The only one that is $50 is the Luna one because it's on a larger and more expensive canvas (that I TOTALLY meant to buy and didn't pick up on accident because I thought it was the same size as the other two. Totally meant to do that) so that's why that one costs more

you could also try scanning it and then selling prints of the art on Deviantart or whatever. Because then more people will want to do it. If they have the same mind set as me anyway

Deviant art sounds like a scary website to work with. I'm not a huge fan of it tbh. I think some navigation could improve on their site to make it super user friendly and easier to explore an artists work.

Someone thought they bought Lion King 2 on VHS, and get Ponies the anthalogy instead! Or someone buys hits for kids 4, and it's a compilation of top brony hits instead! I sould do this!
