So I saw the new Mad Max. I knew reviews were pretty good beforehand but damn it was still better than I was expecting it to be.

This sunday I'm gonna DJ at a little party two friends of mine set up that I make music with. Naturally all 20-or-so guests are DJs who got some kind of success lol. Gonna be pretty much Techno, Deep House, amd some other space shit. I've signed up for a 1hr set.

Okay so here's the issue. First of all, I haven't done an awful lot on tracklisting yet (pretty much zero actually) and I wanna have that done, or close to done, before mid-wednesday, because then I'll be at the hoster's place to practice on his Pioneer set, which'll be the one to play on sunday. I don't know his model's workings though (mainly loopage and using color FX). And it terrifies me.

Did I dun goofed?

Nah, you should be fine. You love to listen to music, and finding music for others, so theres no way you wont be able to come up with a tracklist if you just sit down and actually do it.

I think you will get on with the new model, when you see where everything is, it all falls into place, the concepts are always the same.

You're just sorta stressing out about it, because of anxieties or whatevs, and you need to calm down a bit, then reassess the situation. The best of luck <3

Thanks mango <3
I kinda get very stressed when I'm conscious of how busy I'm making stuff for myself. There's this, there's the BIG official remix that I need to get finished before next week sunday (which is really pressing into me because it keeps on reminding me how much of a struggle it is for me to write song structures, especially when pressured on exactly that, oh and there's Balloon Party and co hanging above my head like the sword of Damocles. And of course whatever I decide to do what isn't anything I necessarily have to do. And struggles with dealing with some family issues (like my last granddad who has cancer).

I'm too used to not making choices and just letting everything happen :') sure there's great power in that too, but it's not exactly always a good thing to have <~<;
(Any advice on how to get more into making choices, oh and tips n tricks for getting on song structures, would be greatly appreciated)

At least I feel more confident for sunday/tomorrow. At it now.

In other news. Today was odd so far. I woke to my alarm clocks (I got two), and well I tend to awaken still half-dreaming. So it felt right in some dreamy way to snooze both alarm clocks every five minutes for 1,5 hour. So I pick up my 3rd gen iPod Classic (mista iFridge) and heyo it doesn't music, but makes laser sounds and turns itself off (don't worry it somehow reverted back).
Then when I want to get my iPhone from the charger it's kinda warm. Half an hour later it suddenly winked out while I was browsing MLR :I it did reboot, but winked out while booting the whole time. Apparently battery's bad. For some reason, this too reverted back to okay along the day. Like wtf.
So I get on my bike to the train station, and I get there and the train is rushing in the station while I was almost there and I cycle and cycle and park my bike amd run my feet off, and the conductor said I could slow down cuz the train'd be halted for a moment, and indeed the front side was sizzling like crazy. I get in, and one minute afterwards the conductor says on the intercom that the train broke because it hit a person. :I
Then in the huge detour I took, somewhere in the middle the audio out of my laptop got busted up, similar to the one of my old 7th gen iPod Classic. Have to put constant pressure on the jack in it to get normal sound >__<
And I arrived four hours late at CCL. For the two hours I had left.

So yeah I break everything today. :3

At least now I have a pressing reason to get a USB audio interface.

So today is the day I graduate. I'm going to use the term "coronation" instead of graduation for the rest of this post.
I'm about to be coronated in less than two hours.
This is kind of exciting. The coronation ceremony will be at the local fair grounds. It's a pretty place, however my genius school wanted to do it inside.
So yea
My coronation cap and gown is a nice red.
And I'm putting princess Luna's cutie mark on the top of my cap. That way I can be coronated with my subliminal Mlp Easter egg on my head. Yay
Only reason it's not an actual pony is because my parents will be there and they don't really approve of Mlp.

Edit: I wish you could upload photos directly onto here. :/
Id show you all my awesome Luna cap

Traveling abroad is one of the most enriching experiences there is. No matter how cosmopolitan your home may be, there's nothing so eye opening as experiencing another culture in its living, post-modern form, first-hand. Live in the moment while you''re there, and if you can, take some time to get lost.

Well all I've ever heard was that I missed MLR's golden times in 2011, but yeah I wasn't brone (and on that matter, not mature enough for a forum, you know, angst and stuff). We're not as loud as we used to be, but we're still friends and every single one of our members have some field of experience in music whether through listening, producing, or whatever, and we help each other out with that still. And besides, the wealth of information that is archived on this board is amazing.

Yeah but I'm here because I love these people and consider most of them as bestest of friends. *cue d'awwwww*

All that talk about 2011 is just a massive circle jerk because a lot of the big name briny musicians were still brownies and it was a small community on here.
