I had to vote for the first time today (it's mandatory here).

Oh great, so in Australia you must voice your opinion? Damnit, and here I loved your country so much... :C

Actually it's a good thing. The general public is more politically aware as a result of it. Also it means that there's a more or less consistent voting pool for every election, whereas in America where it's optional it can vary wildly, so rather than the preferences of whoever shows up you get the preferences of nigh everyone over 18 years old in the country.

And oh no, I have to take a 10 minute walk, wait in line for 5 minutes and fill out a form for 20 seconds once every few years. Oh woe is me, what a pity this country is officially the worst ever. Seriously dude voting isn't hard.

Then you get a country like mine where there is a concerted effort by the right wing to keep as many people out of the polls as possible.

I wouldn't mind living in Oz if I had to vote in every election.

If you have some older consoles, I might recomend playing an ssx game. The classics are ssx (the first one) to ssx on tour (the fourth one)

Otherwise an old nsf game
Or kingdom hearts

About the mandatory votes tho... What do they do about the lazy ppl who still don't vote?

You get fined $20 and you have to pay it within 21 days of receiving the fine and if you don't pay the fine you can be penalized further by either more expensive fines or having your drivers licence suspended. It's not an extremely harsh punishment but most people would still rather vote than pay the fine.

You might be able to get a ps2 emulator and then play kingdom hearts on your pc

If you'd like to try a game series of beautiful sightseeing and culture, mystery, a strong storyline, and puzzling, I will never not recommend the Myst series.
