We where talking about mental health? I have dyslexia. It's pretty great, it never really bothers me, but i get a bunch of social benefits. 50% extra time on tests is my fav at the moment. I can also have my university pay another student to take notes for me (ikr, best system ever. I don't use it though... yet).
There's some stuff not relating to school as well, like getting compensation straight away if you lose a job instead of waiting a few months. Not all sure bout how that works though.

Yeah... don't get me started on ADD and Asperger's. They're both clearly very real disorders for some people, but it seems virtually anyone who has trouble concentrating in school can get diagnosed with ADD or ADHD, and every socially awkward 14 year old thinks they have Asperger's. I wouldn't be bothered so much, except that it makes it harder for people with serious cases to be taken seriously and get correct treatment, and treating people who don't really have the assigned disorder brings its own set of problems.

Thought so too, but after a quick google (ugh) I found out that hypochondria is basically health anxiety.

Eh, I was diagnosed when I was 3. They did a lot of testing before they reached the conclusion, it was a series of different things to figure it out rather than "well he's socially awkward and 14 so aspergers it is!". There are a lot of misinformed diagnoses with mental illnesses though, they tend to be abstract and a lot of diagnoses are better taken as a 'probably' intead of a 'definitely' like you would with a physical illness.

It doesn't say which one which is frustrating. :/

If you're upgrading from Win7, and you wanna do that installation and it works without error, enjoy the countless time spent on fixing shitty drivers. It was bad enough with having to do that on Win7 when I downgraded (took me 2 months and a friend who had luck in his searches to fix my drivers). I can only imagine how torturous it will be on Win8 when you upgrade.
