I am painting a princess Luna painting at school. I plan on selling it too. For money. I picked Luna because she usually sells for a lot. Anyway, when I am done and take it home, I'll post it on eBay and then EQD and then show you all. It's big. Kind of. About 16 by 20 inches. (Probably about 40 cm by 50 cm). It's gonna be sweet. It's my first painting I have ever actually done, but I think it will turn out decent. Because I am in an art class and I know a decent amount about painting now. Anyway, I'll show when done. :3 can't wait

Those are actually some pretty damn cool paintings.

I've always liked the idea of dry-erase paint. You paint the wall with it, and you can draw on it with dry-erase markers, then erase the markings. A friend of mine had that in his house, and it was super legit.

In relatively good news, I am looking into moving out. I am already found a place that would be cheap enough that I can easily support myself. I would live with a friend. His parents like me. We have been friends for over 5 years and his parents know a decent amount about means they trust me. They understand why I want to leave and are ok with it because I'm 18. I know this will not help any relationship I have with my parents, but it will prevent it from continuously going down and getting worse. So, for now, I'll be fine with living in another home. I just need to be able to manage my money really well for the next year to garunteed I'll be fine

There's this one website that sells a capture card that's installed in the back of your 3ds. You can send one in and they'll take off your back cover and install it. You can also buy a 3ds with it installed already, if that's your kind of thing, but it's uber expensive.

Good luck buddy! Being completely honest, GCSE exams are really easy so I guarantee you'll do well. If anything they're too easy imo - the jump from GCSE to AS level is rather large. But yeah good luck with em! :3

It's sad, it's one state over from mine (Colorado) and yet its a 9 hr highway drive according to mapquest. I hope its fun, take photos so i can know what it's like. We'll have Rotlcon in North Denver hopefully around Halloween if you want to consider travelling the same distance to ours.

This is totally random and off topic, but does anyone have any pointers on how to go about finding a decent set of speakers the will work well enough for mixing and won't drive me bankrupt? I'm a total newb, tbh, and have no idea what I'm doing, so I kinda need all the help I can get :/

I have some nice Sony speakers. They are part of a home theater system. They costed me only 70 bucks and they have better sound quality than my $200 beats headphones in regards to being able to play subs. I found them at a best buy a few months back. It's a 3 part speaker system with a large sub and two smaller speakers than connect to form the left and right speakers.

I also got an iPhone 4 which is 1 year newer than the iPhone I usually use to get into mlr. :3 it is noticeably faster than y other iPhone although it only has 8gb compared to the 32 on my other phone. I still like it because its better than what I've been using for the last year

Did you just use beats as a good comparison?

In all seriousness though... You really need to try the speakers yourself to see if they suit your needs. For example I use Bose AM-5's and they are good enough for me (at the moment) It also depends on space, which is the main reach I use the AM-5 because the tweeter and mid-range housing is small so fits well on my desk. I'd recommend taking a look at KRK. or if you want something cheaper you can get a pair of Avantone Mixcubes for a respectable price.

As Abby said, you have to choose the right monitors for you - however lame and cliché it might sound. Unfortunately, cheap monitors don't exist unless you stumble upon a crazy second-hand deal. I swear by KRK Rokit 5 G3's, which you can pick up on Amazon for just over £250; which isn't too bad a price in the grand scheme of things.
