What's the strangest place your music has ended up?

Things have been really quiet around here so I thought I'd start a thread that could be interesting or boring as hell.

A good deal of us release our music for online consumption which, of course, has a few inherent risks. One being that we have limited control over where it ultimately ends up.

Being aware of these things could prove useful, as well. It can help us understand exactly how our work is being consumed or even discover a new niche that we fill. Plus, it's kind of fun to poke around and see what turns up.

Surely I'm not the only one who has done a vanity search and found some odd websites that their music was featured. I once saw my piano sonata inexplicably on a guitar theory website.

Okay, maybe that's not the weirdest place ever. How about you? Got a weirder story?

right here. Never thought I'd find one of my songs on a cheap virus mp3 site thing. It's way down at the bottom.

Weirdest place I saw my music end up was a Polish MLP fansite. I did a "vanity search" just now, but all I found were bunch of sites that apparently farm free MP3 downloads.

Its kinda hard for me to search "Alycs" because I used to make wallpapers that got quite popular and those still come up as one of the first results, but secondly I made a post on tumblr a few months ago that got over 100,000 notes and pretty much dominates all the other search results...

Upharsin Tone got a lot of weird hits. There are a ton of mp3 hosting sites that have my song "Warrior" on them... then by page 3 of google searches its all Biblical sites because I took the word "Upharsin" from the "Writing on the Wall" from the book of Daniel...

Right now, the weirdest place is on the YouTube page of a friend of mine (who kinda released it on his netlabel).

I don't do a lot to promote myself so I still fly pretty low on the radar. My tracks have ended up in places like lastfm, and some random sites like myfreemp3 but that's not really that weird.

A few years ago I did make a machine gun soundeffect by mixing drum samples, and it is one of the most downloaded machine gun sound effects on freesound.org. At over 9000 downloads, who knows where it has ended up.

The only place i found my music was on a couple russian sites for videos and some mix showing off top songs of like march.
