Turns out I can actually do algebra and stuff. I just never had any real world insentive in highschool and nowhere near enough explanation from teachers. Literally I went from struggling with the simple stuff to getting right answers in >30 seconds and the only reason was because I had it explained one-to-one and was given a relevant reason to do it.

Honestly, the more time I spend at university the more I realise what highschool could have done better :I

In other news, I'm getting myself a new mic tomorrow. I've got a few gigs coming up, so I thought I'd get myself a dynamic alternative to my SE X1 (hehe) and decided on the AKG D5. It's reasonably priced, sounds good and has a feedback filter. Though less sturdy than the Shure sm58, I do prefer the sound and utility in the AKG. Plus, it's sexy!

Did you play any of the games though? I believe that there isn't a chronological order in which you should play the games and read the books (besides the obvious "play Myst III before Myst IV" and such), but it's recommended to have finished Myst (and preferably Riven) before reading the books.
