Do you ever just like doing small little things in secret to make someones day better like not even someone you know but just slipping a nice note under someone's coffee at restaurants or randomly going on deviantArt and complimenting someone's art and just small things like that because it always feels so great to see someone smile.

I guess I'm just happy today I don't know why. :3

Also one of the colleges I got accepted at has an honors program that I can apply to and its essay choice has given me a perfect opportunity that I may never receive again to be a sarcastic little shit:

Ooooohh, idea! Write a really long and detailed essay, but change the color of everything to pure white. Deliver the essay electronically. If you get called in for not writing anything, tell them to highlight the entire document. You'll blow their minds and everyone will think you're really clever. A+ the rest of the semester!

I've been afflicted with the terrible curse of having a last name that can be made to rhyme with any number of random frivolous objects and doesn't mesh with any sort of literary style with my first name, so I am doomed to stay under a pseudonym forever

speaking of College. I still have no idea why my University accepted me XD
I have very few significant qualifications, didn't get a QCE (just a graduation certificate), and passed on mostly B/B+ scores.

Like, there's no doubt that I'm going...but damn I thought it'd be way harder.

But people manage to say "Noah krista" and spell it that way too. Like, c'mon seriously. It's spelled how it sounds and it sounds how it is spelled. It's not like it has "tion" where is sounds like "shun" my name is straight foward

Yeah I'm in the same boat with uni (cept for the elective being filled up part. that sucks.)
Right down to mine also being an hour and a half from where I live.

TAFE was a bit like that for me. I don't get why they don't just find a way to streamline shit like that. JMC had the right idea, I just filled out an application for an enrollment package, waited for it to arrive, filled that out, gave em my proof of education and a couple other tidbits and that was all that needed to be done.

JMC Academy. Bachelor of Audio Engineering. I'm pretty happy about it too, it was my ideal choice and I got it first try :D

The course I'm going for does a bit of everything. Recording, live sound, electronic music composition, even some stuff to do with electronics to fix broken speakers and stuff like that. It's pretty broad, I like that :P

There's also a ton of collaboration at JMC. Apparently every year all three departments (film, art, music) team up for a group project. The music students write a song, the audio students record and mix it and the art students storyboard and do any other arty/graphic design needed and the film students produce a music video.

And they often have music and film students working with the Audio students for assessment. Along with game design. I'm really looking forward to that :D

Oh, and it turns out that a fair few people I know from Highschool are also moving to Brisbane. So i won't be completely alone there.

See, I'd like to do something like this when I go into college. I'm only a sophomore in high school as it is right now, but people keep saying that now is the time to start thinking about colleges to attend. As far as scholarships go, I'm most likely to end up somewhere here in Texas, but I have no idea which colleges have the best course for what I want to do. Any suggestions, perchance? Tips?
