- Cities are getting bigger, to the point of them growing into each others and forming megacities is just a matter of time
- Corporations have human rights in America, paving way for the supercorps of something like Mutant Chronicles
- We've trained a goddamn robotic dog to throw friggin cinder blocks! THROW CINDER BLOCKS!!
- More and more food products are made from soy
- Google glasses are on their way, and they'll eventually look cool enough for people to buy them
- Kinect technology, which doesn't suck, will become available. Perhaps 300 years from now, but still...
- People are eating a lot of noodles. When the white male protagonist eats noodles, you KNOW we're dealing with a dystopian future setting
- When the oil crisis really gets hardcore, you can bet your ass that the then-mega-corporations will be fighting over what's left, dividing us into factions like Mutant Chronicles.
