yesterday me and my friend just tried to learn everything there is to know about ableton live and we did, except for how to make drum sounds in impulse and we're still pretty bad at doing like, synth design, or whatever you call it. Because wow too many options and then options inside of the options and ts kindo overwhelming so if anyone has a favorite instrument on ableton you should tell me
also i have a friend who is in a religion called BrOgreism which worships Shrek

Operator is a fantstic synth. Its FM though, which is the most complicates type of synth. Id highly recommend putting in some time with it because FM is capable of any sound (theoretically).

no operator is the one that you have to buy in addition:
https://www.ableton.com/en/packs/operator/the ones it comes with are simpler (for instrements) and impulse (for drums) ((I think))

Some freeware synths I like:
Kairatune
TAL Noisemaker & TAL Electro
Tone2 Firebird
Zebralette
I dunno if you're on mac, but in pretty sure they come as AU too, possibly except the TAL stuff.

A lot of people like Synth1. I have used it a grand total of 1 times when I was messing around with ableton intro.

JacksonMiller on some guy's soundcloud wrote:“Holy shiBe finish this!”
B. Is. Not. The. Same. As. ß.
And the word is Scheiße, Scheisse, or Scheisze. I personally prefer just substituting ß with sz because it's simpler.

How tall are you guys? I'm intensely curious for some reason.
I'm 5'10" or so (about 178 centimeters).

I'm pretty much the same. 5'10" or 176 cm. Makes me juuust a little short among other Norwegian men, but pretty decent for an Asian. A Korean friend of mine is way shorter, like to my chest-short.

Also 6'2". I don't really consider being tall a curse, tho. There are enough people my height that I feel roughly average.
