Commenting as I listen...

Really digging the intro. I love the percussive bass you got going there. To be honest, the long intro is something I've been missing in a lot of songs as of late. I'm also really liking the use of ping-pong delay and splitting the channels with your percussion (if that made sense).

The vocals, to me, sound like they may be a little bit buried beneath all of the instrumentation. This may just be me, though.

As the song progresses, I'm getting a nice prog trance feeling. You've got a good knack for this genre. Maybe we should collab sometime?

On your kick, maybe turn it up just a little. I can tell it's there, but it's not as prominent as I would expect.

The breakdown... I'm always a huge fan of breakdowns. You did a great job executing it. You're build up is sounding great. Oh, and the nice little drum fill was an unexpected, but much loved touch.

Awesome sounding song, bro. Great remix. I'm really digging your style.

Thanks for the feedback!

I dunno what part the vocals feel lost for you, but I do know in the second verse I used a lot of filters and stereo manipulation, as well as extra delay/reverb to give the sense they're coming from off in the distance and from different directions. That may be part of what's causing it. It may also just be mixed a little low? I tend to deemphasize things like vocals in trance because I feel they oughtn't be the focus of any trance song. Might not be especially effective, but there you have it.

The kick could very be well on the quiet end. I've recently come off a period where I think my kicks are too loud, so it's possible I've been overcompensating and making them too quiet now.

I might be up for a collab. I've never really done anything very formal on that front, though. It wouldn't be just now since I've got some assignments to be working on, but maybe in a couple weeks I'll be free.

LOVE the acid sounds. And you've got a nice build-up, proper use of the vocals combined with your own music. And I love the break and build-up starting at around 4:15. Sounds really decent! Proper Trance you've got here.

About the kick: As long as there's enough punch to it and enough sub in the bass, don't worry about the kick. As long as your kick and bass is centered and all the other sounds are 'positioned around it', you should be fine. I for one really enjoy snappier but softer kicks in Trance. :)

I think your overall mix could use some more work, even though I'm not quite sure about it. (playing on low volume at the moment). It could be a little wider. Even with a softer kick, you don't want to put too much sounds other than your kick and bass in the center (or actually, you don't want to put any other sound in the center). Cause right now it sounds like some sounds are clashing with your kick and bass.

I'd go ahead and check it with an analyzer, but right now I'm kinda occupied with birthday-related things and I'm about to go to a meeting. :P
