Nobody will, cuz if someone does that, it's ruined for the whole forum. And I know when the USB is standing still, and who has it.
If it does happen, however, I won't be nice. And I'll backtrack who did it and make it public ^_^

Don't put anything on the USB that you're not allowed to put on the forum. Though I personally don't mind if you share music and stuff.

Don't think that you have to send it asap :P no pressure.
I just keep a record.

When I start collecting addresses from everyone, I wanna try and fill a text file on the stick with a list of participating countries and the format of how you send something to that country. I'll have to ask you guys to help for that by the way.

If you mean how long this whole game takes, I don't know.
If you mean how long the preparations will take, well, I'm starting the submitting of addresses and set the deadline as soon as 1) I have the USB stick, 2) the site is set up.
The USB might come in the next two weeks, at least that's what I expect.
Then the site. Yea, I think it won't take long.

I'll probably give you guys something like 3 weeks to submit required data so you can participate and I can put you in the database. After deadline finishes, I'll make sure to have thoroughly tested the site and make sure that you can't at any time generate more than two addresses.
The codes you can use to generate your address will be om the USB. You have no use in using or copying the codes from others. It won't do shit.

Behold: the USB.

So the only remaining item is the webdirectory.
It's still in progress. We're now busy configuring the generator, optimalizing the database, etc.

You'll hear from me.

TBA.

There'll be a size limit. How big it is will depend on amount of participants.

And I was planning to think of some sort of 'gift' of sorts to put on the stick.
Now to think of what that gift could be.

I am indeed gonna trust you guys at this. It'd be ridiculous if one'd ruin the fun for all participants.

And next to that, I can see who has the stick. I'll just tell everyone who did it and you guys do the rest ^_^
Believe me, that works.

Waiting for the site to be finished. We're pretty far already, but it ain't done yet.

If you're very impatient, I could at least kick off the sending in your address this afternoon when I get back from school :P

None can do Simon, you gotta fill in your address if you wanna participate.
You can explain in side note how people can send to your place.

I'll be allowing people to submit their addresses soon.

The way your doing is quite unsecure... It's very easy to hack into a database and grab all the data

Don't think so.
Very secure password protection and all.

My dad's not a fool. It's his profession. If this is unsecure, he would've been without work ^_^

So, you're going to go against a guy's knowledge (who actually knows more than you think on the issue), and somebody who builds databases and websites for a living and say "yeah that's crap mate, a baby could hack you"?
For shame, Acsii, for shame.

Also, who the fuck would even want to do that? Like seriously who would go out of their way to hack into a system to get what is a very small list of useless information in the grand scheme of things, coming from a bunch of guys from a small forum tucked away in a corner of the internet? That's assuming they even find out ..

No offense. :3

Yeah, I mean what's someone gonna do with my address? Mail me stuff? And i'll be off to college next year anyway, so it's not like it'll be useful forever.

If something like this occurs, one can just simply mail a replacement address. Those are the only exceptions for after the deadline of submitting.
