seriously these things are just meant to be simple. Person has USB puts something on it under X size sends it to next person. The order being whoever wants it next. there is no need for fancy rules or fancy randomisers... it takes away from the fun of it

Welp, Twilight won by a landslide 21 to 11, so I guess it didn't really change after Exo's last count. But hey, we've got a usb drive chosen now, so the participation list and the official content rules thread can get started :3

Eeyup. It'll have to wait a few hours when I'm on my laptop though.
But I'll get it started soon enough.

I couldn't do it today, and I doubt if I can do it tomorrow (gonna work on it though!), but it'll get done
Do know that as of saturday, I'll be without Wi-Fi for an unknown duration (not longer than 2 weeks).
If, before then, I haven't made the big thread yet, just know that I'll post it straight away when I'm back from no internet.

Hope that helps :)
I'll get to ordering the USB soon by the way. I'll have to wait before ordering because of reasons ;)

Afraid to say, it's starting to look like the list kind of progress.

Not necessarily bad, but also not good :c
I'm working on this now. I wanna have this finished.

Some info already: the USB stick won't be ordered before August 15th because of financial situation.

It seems that this was going to fail anyway because a lot of us aren't adults yet so you know sending stuff around the world can stress our wallets and stuff

Really? I mean i've never sent anything farther than across the US but I would think something as small as a USB drive would be pretty cheap to ship...

I feel weird now.

I've sent stuff around the world plenty of times before :c

Don't worry, this is still happening. I can't work on this in weekends though, I'll continue working on it starting Monday.

I just noticed that there's a poll option when you make threads now. Would have been useful for this, eh?

Yep. Eh, this worked, but it's great to know we can make an actual poll now.

Weekend's over, so I can get back to working on this.
And don't worry. I'll make sure to work on it alright.

The webdirectory has been created. It's not finished, so no sharing yet.
Also, my dad gave me a new idea (due to it being easier to program for him), which enables you to go to the site and fill in all data yourself, no need to mail it to me (though I'll be able to access it in the database).

This is gonna be so much more convenient than what I first thought of.
My dad also improved the password system (which prevents random people and people who's turn it isn't from getting an address).

I'm still waiting for money to show up on my PayPal, it'll probably be there tomorrow. If it is, I'll order the stick then. I'll put all stuff on the stick and get this website going :)

This is happening guys :D

I'm going to study at a boarding school in the UK. Maybe then the shipping price wouldn't be as high.

Status update!

The USB has been ordered and it was more expensive than I thought it would be.

And next to that, the site is improving. We're initializing the database and the way to access it, which means we're about halfway I guess.
It might still take a week though. Maybe longer, dunno.

You arguing about what to put on a usb which will be sent around the world?

You thought about how to make sure it doesn't go to somebody who decides not to send it along?

If you don't send the USB along, either find a way to still get it to the next or don't join :/

You can put anything on the USB, as long as it's <200MB, SFW and not dangerous/creepy. Something fun, something nice, something you's like to share. Text files, music files, pictures, maybe a nice program of sorts.
