Everything's appropriate unless it's evidently inappropriate (we received a pirate song, and it's fine). The vetting team has not caught up to your song yet, but I already listened to it and theme won't be an issue.

Also, can you give us a rough estimate of when the album will be released InC?

I'm not sure... Looking at the entries we have right now and the ones that are late, it will still be a little while. Probably by the end of the month.

Well...I submitted, I sort of ran out of time to work on it...so my piece is quite...imperfect. Best of luck to everyone!

This time is mostly used to discuss with some of the musicians and help them polish their songs a bit more. To everyone who ran out of time and aren't satisfied with their submission, you are welcome to work a bit more on it and resubmit later! Resubmitting in the next week (or two) is reasonable, and you're also welcome to send a WIP now asking for feedback if you wish.

Technically, I'd say you can safely assume about two weeks if you need it, but it would be nice if we had something one week from now, even if you plan on updating your entry afterwards.

It sounds like '90s nature documentary music with a new age vibe. I like it.

My only complaint is the parallel 4ths and or 5ths that I think are present near the end when the bells and strings play in the same direction. Consider changing that to thirds instead! xD

Is there are definite release date for this? My collaborators are uncertain about the release of the album at the moment. I've had it done before the old due date back in June and not to be pestering too much, but is there a final release date for the album itself?

Sorry, we really don't know that yet. As soon as it's ready. I think this album will turn out great, but it needs some more time, as it's not really in a releasable state right now, sorry. I'd like to get it out by the end of the month, which would be my rough estimate. Thank you for help, and for your patience.

Alright...so apparently Kingsley had plans to submit three songs...

Anyways, I had previously known I would be offline furring the due date, and had trusted Kingsley, my collaborator to send you guys the final track before the 7th

He kinda wanted me to approve his changes, freaked out, and didn't submit

Anyways, I was wondering if it would be too late to still submit the song later today (I need to get a couple of missing samples before I can render the song)

If you'd like, here is the current state of the song, although it's not quite final. Kingsley made one change I'd like to revert, but I haven't done so until I have said samples

I'm pretty sure wav is an acceptable music format, as it's lossless.

Doesn't seem to be, though that's mainly cause they're giving people time to use their feedback and fix up/resubmit their tracks.

I'd be surprised it it gets to middle of August and the album isn't out though.

Sorry, there isn't an estimated release date yet, but we will get it out as soon as possible. Right now, we're giving some people the time to polish their songs as Camsy explained, as well as waiting on a few late entries. I'm sorry we have to make you wait like that, I really am, and we will push the album out as soon as we feel the album is as good as it can be. Due to various circumstances we received significantly less entries before the deadline than the previous times, but it's already looking a lot better and I think the extra time will let us deliver something great. Thank you for your patience!
