Omnitronica

I'm not 100% sure if the technique section is the right place for this thread, so if it's wrong, please move this thread.

So I just had the best idea ever while listening to C1.

I've said before how music affects me in several ways. I want to combine genres into a new fusion, applying the magic effects that I've experienced and learned of throughout my life. I didn't think very long about the name for such a fusion, somehow it immediately came to me: Omnitronica.

So I'm planning to do an Omnimix of C1 (from Scot Project), using several genres.
I wanna try to make it something that does more than tell a story. I want it to have this special effect that hasn't been produced before in such a way.

And I was actually planning to look for people to help me, to form a producer group dedicated to making this Omnitronic music, because of course it'd be strange if I could do all this on my own.
I haven't thought up a name for such a group but I'm thinking of it.

If you're interested, please tell me. I'm looking for anything, really. Good mixers, professionals at Dubstep (don't take "professional" too serious), skilled sound engineers, people good at song structures, sources of inspiration, but mainly as much variation as possible in controlled genre. I know that I can't dub the step, for one. I know that a lot of you can.

I am very excited about this project. Please tell me what you think of it :D

EDIT - I do realize that I'm referring to magic here. On purpose.

There's actually a synth/plugin that takes one sound and transforms it into another. That could be really amazing (I don't remember the plugin's name, just that I heard about it from the Coursera "Introduction to Digital Sound Design"). It'd be easy to use it well, in say, you have the same number of instruments for each genre section, and then a transition from dubstep to orchestral would be, say, the lead synth turns into violins, the pad into some wind instrument, the bass into a lower string or wind, and the sub into a cello, or if there's a really low wind instrument lower than the cello, the cello would replace the bass and the wind instrument the sub.

this might interest me. Though, I would like to hear what it sounds like before I jump into a project like this.

Okay, I'll currently set the searching for others to accompany me on this journey on hiatus, to focus on getting an example out.
This might take a short while, I hope you guys are patient enough.

Granular Synthesizer?

I'm gonna look for that one.

Yeah, it wasn't anything like granular synthesis. I've put up a thread on the coursera forums for the class (although I don't think anybody uses it, lol) and am waiting to see if I get an answer.

I'm thinking of making this Nocturne Of The Firmaments thing an Omnimix.
That idea makes me pretty hype and gives me so many ideas all at once.

Yep this is happening. It might take a bit longer to have an example for you guys, but I'm doing this.
This'll be a hard Omnimix though. Since I'm gonna focus on Doomcore, Darkcore, Speedcore/Terror, Extratone, Harsh Noise, and maybe Dark Ambient.

Wait, you're doing a what?

I actually made my own version of Moon's Elegy. (Which was #6?)
Anyway, I could possibly redo it to fit the genre. (The production quality was poor anyway.)

(Indeed #6.)
Do you mean that you wanna do this with me, as in collab? Even though I'd love to, there's only one collab on the album, namely Desolation's Duet. And I already have a collab partner for that one :P

I'd love to hear whatever you come up with though.

EDIT - wait wait wait: "to fit the genre."
You mean ...

I mean making the song more Omnitronican and less... whatever you would call my music.

Anyways, this is what I did: (bad production alert)
