Assuming an average 4 minutes per song, 1032 minutes of music, which equates to just over 17 hours of music. I have nothing but respect for the judges who will have to listen to most, if not all of the songs each, and make fair decisions about the mixing/mastering/composition of each song. Good luck to them! <3

Same. Then again, it seems understandable. Like, not everyone who entered would've wanted to be added to the skype chat, but most would. So let's say out of the entries there were around 200 people who wanted to be added. And I bet that for every person who finished and submitted an entry, there were several who intended to enter and then dropped out, so yeah. Lots of skype messages.

Last year for BP I believe all participants were eligible to request financial aid, regardless if they made the album or not, although it was on a first come, first serve basis.

The financial aid itself was also not an all-expenses paid trip to BC. I believe it covered travel, and that was it. Hotels, food, and registration costs were up to the individual.

More light will be shed on the process very soon.

You've always been able to upload a YouTube video, provided it's unlisted. The deadline ending doesn't mean people can upload their tracks publicly yet. That time will come when the actual album is released.
