I can confirm that BMD is still being worked on, so I guess you can submit to them.

I'm going to TRY to do 4 posts a week until its caught up. But since I really have no staff for BMD anymore (just Lore and I and he's been very busy with school) it's really fallen on the backburner this year. I'm not kidding when i say i'd love it if some people really wanted to give it another shot at life and take over the reins. Hell I wouldn't mind a bit more active help on FIMM if anyone wanted to add any regular features of weekly spotlights for community tracks. It's work but it's what is needed to keep both sites running. If there's a demand for keeping them going of course. Often I'm not sure if it's still worth the time and if people really support either. Will see. Support is a 2 way street.

Well, MLR almost shut down. but got new owners (PonyvilleFM) almost as soon as the shut down was announced, Makkon and most of the old mod team has stepped down. Otherwise nothing major happened.

Not sure if it would be the same for me, I have some IRL friends who also do music, so I my stuff (if I release anything) may get heard by someone who isn't me. Still, I check this site rather frequently so I am glad that it is still up, I just hope that our new overlords will steer the site in the right direction

I think that I could set aside some time to strategize some regular posting I could do for FiMMusic. After all I've wanted to contribute for a while, instead of just being background fodder. I'll think something up.

I would also volunteer for maybe the musician directory but right now at the moment I don't have a ton of time because of school. But I'm out in about 3 weeks for good. :3

You'd be surprised. There's close to no difference between time I got to spend in holidays and non-holidays.

I technically have less time in the summer than I do during school. This is because I work from 8-5 but I only go to school 8-3. The difference is that school also brings homework and there are the after school activities I do. Like today, I was at school from 7:30 in the morning to 9 at night. (13.5 hours)
I have no homework in the summer. And no after school activities. So I'll be able to spend a few hours each week easily on bmd.

Actually, hey freewave. Can you pm me and describe what I might be doing on bmd if I actually took on some responsibility.

I know what I'll be doing. just sitting there with loads of cake. lonely. no one wants to talk to be... Practicing my music... no one wants to accept them.... So alone.... Anxiety kicking in.... Depression.... suicide.... *creepy music*

All jokes aside: There might be a possibility I might go to BronyCon.... A slight possibility

I'm only this far from putting a huge amount of effort in a very long, detailed reply to our dear friend the spambot3120853. He's clever enough to warrant that from me. MUST RESIST, I DON'T HAVE THE TIME

I have a new idea that's totally not 100% original but could boost the moral and maybe traffic on this site.
Let's make promotional videos for the website. Just maybe short things that have the logo on display and would say a few things about the website? Idk
Any interest?

As long as it looks good and not sloppy go for it. I'll post it on FIMM tubmlr at least for what good that will do. Really depends who posts such a video too whether anyone sees it. Someone with 3K subs vs someone with just 30 will get different traffic and it really depends if people will reblog, like, or re-circulate it.... We don't have too many active well known veterans to really help get the word out these days..

Yea. Plus my YouTube has about 30 subs so it's not going to be very effective. I would be willing to make that video, but I'd want to send it to someone else to post it.

So Like woo, I've almost finished writing my Album, which means I can start recording it soon. The recording process is gonna take a while haha, as I'll be used 4 different studios to record it haha. My home one, One in the country, One with an Audient, and one with Neve. So yeah this album has been a long process. However I can say one track is finished, and it features so many guest musicians haha. Anyway I'll be off now to finish my final uni project for this trimester.

Nice! It's great to accomplish a great step in a journey :D
Looking forward to the result! Sounds like it'd be quite awesome

I had my first real late night trip through a city yesterday, visiting multiple clubs. I even got in a 21+ one with an AMAZING Bass/Jackin' House/Future House/Techno DJ. I even did some DJ'ing myself :P
During that set from the amazing DJ I went absolutely bonkers, and my friend who took me there was laughing hard about how crazy I am on music. I hope that put a silencer on his continuous questioning me why I don't want alcohol or drugs xD
So I went to sleep at 6AM. Which isn't that abnormal all things considered; I stay up almost every night till around 4AM reading fanfics on my PSP. Finished reading another tear-inducing beautifully artistic fanfiction. Damn, it's like all fanfics I read nowadays are super artistic and beautiful beyond words. (This one sucks on mobile though, so don't try unless you're on a computer.)

It will be awesome and very interesting, as when i was at the studio in the Country last we had to stop every hour for a minute as a train went past. But yeah some time soon I'll be heading out there to record some drums for most of the songs. And on Thursday I have session in the Neve studio to do a mix of a song for a client but that means I'll be able to work out good settings for all the outboard. Also forgot to mention that one of the songs will hopefully be like a prog metal song.
