Room for improvement indeed, it's simple, but I would like it to be more aggressive.
used just the default noise with sytrus and modded it.

Aggressive? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE.
Keep the eq for your wobble the same so your mixdown isn't slaughtered, and add a distortion before it, preferably Camelcrusher if you wanna go free. If you want to make your drop as a whole more aggressive, then you definitely need to add more sounds. It's tough to make a drop that consists of just one dry vowel wobble, so use it in conjunction with other sounds, and don't forget to sequence them properly. Usually a drop wouldn't have a yoi, then a wobble, then a huge roar bass. If you can make that work, than that's awesome, but as a rule of thumb: bigger sounds with lots of harmonics usually come first. (Making the sequence roar, yoi, then wobble) Again, this is just a little beginner tip, and it really does not need to be followed. It's just an easy way to make your drops rougher while still having variety
Once again, to keep your mixdown intact (and to make your drop a bit more focused on the bass sounds themselves, thus making it filthier) I would probably take out the melodic synth in the background. Also, your drop completely lacks a buildup. Maybe you left it out on purpose, but that intro section is kind of pointless then. A simple kick roll and white noise filtered up would have done here.

ah! perfect! Thank you, if you wouldn't mind, could you get me an example of a roar?

Omegastick wrote:After that you just need to make your bass a helluva lot bigger. A solid sub bass (a normal sine wave will do the job, but don't be afraid to be creative, just make sure it doesn't venture too far from the 40hz region) in there will do half the work for you. Then layer your synths with some more, dirtier sounds. I recommend you go into your synth of choice and play with every knob you can until you get some really filthy sounds, that will help your synth design right away 'cause you'll learn the what every single knob does on your synthesizer. For example, I like to use a mix of Ableton's Operator and Sylenth1, and as such I know what every single knob will do to my sound (actually, there are a few I haven't experimented with on Sylenth1, but I intend to later).

but here are at least my sounds I've got, what are they rated now?

Mind that when I say "roar" bass I really mean just any massive opener. It obviously doesn't HAVE to be a vowel-y "roar".

Just have to say, that roar is a little messy (for lack of a better word, honestly not trying to use something as negative as that).

Oh, that's just an example. I didn't EQ it at all.

Proof that you don't need any VSTs to make dubstep.
Thoughts?
