Because growing a beard takes no effort so people don't pay it any mind. Growing a moustache means you have to conciously shave everything else and people recognise that you're participating more easily because it makrs you out. Also on the note of beards not taking effort, maintaining a moustache also demonstrates to people that you're willing to commit to a routine to get the message accross.

Okay so the job itself isn't bad at all. It went rather well.
Did drop a bottle of baby feed though.

No, the stress was only there when dad didn't warm my dinner himself, but let me do it. I was dizzy, hungry, and exhausted/tired as fuck (and still am, without the dizzyness and hungriness), and dad told me "when you burn your finger you'll know it's warm enough," which I replied to with "I'd rather not burn my finger." So he went to the living room and I burned my finger and my sausage and half of my potatoes were lukewarm. Oh well...

Otherwise, nothing productive happened. At all.
And I feel weird (bad weird).

I would say retail is far from the worst. I would probably say that's food service, or maybe, like, waste disposal, although, with food, if you can make good tips, it pays well. Waste disposal pays pretty damn good, too, iirc.

Retail definitely sucks, though. A lot of people easily forget that the person behind the register is a person, and you get a lot of mistreatment for that, and it almost never pays particularly well.

I definitely do not want to go into retail or food ever.
I applied for Office Depot but I wasn't accepted.
My first job, I was lucky enough to know the CEO of a company. So I asked him for a job and it turned out well. It's a construction equipment sales, rentals, and repairs shop.
Basically like a combination of a car dealership and a garage and car rental all in one, but with equipment instead. And I says its like that because it literally is, just different stuff.
But we are a bit more laid back than a car type place. Like, people can come and there really ain't any security around my shop.
But anyway, construction was a good choice first job because it pays pretty good. I have gotten only two raises in the time I have worked there, but the amount of money each raise gives me is quite significant. Like, I started at 8/hour and one raise later I'm at 9.5/hour and then another raise later I'm at 12/hour with a promotion.
I get a raise every year, so I'm guessing my next raise will be really nice. I've worked there for about two to three years now. It's nice.
My original task was just to clean machines inside and out. Like, washing a car and detailing the inside, but with machines. And it's a lot harder because they are covered in dirt, concrete, bird poop, and also stuffed with it too. Cleaning the outside is easy, cleaning the engine compartments and interior is less fun. It takes several hours to thoroughly clean machines, gives me a lot of thinking time.
My promotion included me to also inspect machines for damages, photograph machines and upload them to the company data base, upload instances of machines into a website for rentals and sales, and do that again for a second website, check to make sure images in the database are up to date, and also clean machines still.
I also do odd jobs, like crushing fuel filters. It's actually kind of scary. I use a machine where you out the filter inside and it compresses it down. In case you don't know, the filters are made of metal, so it takes high pressure to crush them. The crushing machine uses an air compressor and it kind of small and light weight. With a lot of force being used, the crushing machine moves easily and often. The door to the machine must be closed for it to be on, and you must hold the doer closed with your hand in order for it to work.
Sometimes, the pressure makes the door open by itself with high pressure and it freaks me out.
And sometimes it won't open so I freak out because there is a ton of pressure being exported and I can't make it stop.
But it's still kind of cool.
I also pull weeds and kill bugs at work. And also I have changed the transmission fluid on a haul truck which is basically like a pick up truck that can pull 40 tons at a time.

I am planning on going into computer networking and also web design. I would be able to keep doing what I'm doing at the construction job with more website based work with that knowledge.
Or I could look for another job with that knowledge.
But if nothing comes my way, I would apply to work for the people who drive around collecting trash. That actually seems kind of interesting. Idk I also read on ifunny that it pays really good. Which I like good pay.
And I am a good worker. Which would do me great for this job.

But anyway, yea. Exo, go do construction. It pays quite nice and you don't need to know anything to join the ranks. I know moths out machines still after working for several years around them other than how to drive them, refill their fuel, and how to change the transmission fluid.
You could make friends in the construction business too. Like, literally everyone at my workplace is really cool and super friendly. Like, that stereotype of people who work in construction is not real around my place. Everyone is nice and smart and well kept. We tend to flush out the people who are not.

Yesterday on my way to school, my truck broke down. Turns out it had no oil. Literally none.
So the engine ceased. And it won't be a cheap fix. :(
The meter thing inside that says the levels of oil was acting up. Three weeks ago, it was at 3/4 level. Then whenever I would accelerate, it would drop a little and then go back up. I never thought anything of it.
Then it started going up and down for no reason for a short while then stay at 3/4 again.
Then it did it more and more.
And then it rested at 0 and then jumped up to 3/4 about a week ago whenever the truck had been going for a while. Like, it's 0 when it first starts up and jumps up to normal levels when warm again. Because its getting cold again. Idk
But turns out the real "normal" was zero.
And so I don't really have scar to get to school for awhile.

But I'm looking for one this weekend intensely.
I have a small budget but hopefully I find something.
I feel bad for my parents about the truck tho.
I don't wanna pay for it for repairs but I don't want them to have to pay for it either.

I had one of those moments where I talked to a "random hater on the Internet" About bronies.
Like, it started with a simple question about why people hate bronies.
And like, he got on my case cuz I am one.
But we ended up having a really nice conversation
And he apologized about the misunderstanding
Like, faith in humanity kind of restored
But I still do not understand the logic of people on the Internet.
Like, it's not cool to be mean just because I can't do anything about it in person.
Butlots of people do that anyway.
I wonder how many mean people on the Internet are really nice in real life.
Idk
But I just kind of Hate how that's a thing
Being mean on the Internet
Like, it shouldn't really be a thing
