You and me both. Though making it too adventurecentric could also backfire. It is My Little Pony after all. Slice of life is what the series does best.

The first one was confusing at first. Yeah the whole plot was Twilight is to go into the alternate world, reunite old friends, and then return home. The second one just seems completely stupid because TWILIGHT IS STAYING HOME! But Hasbro got together and decided "why not?" They should have collaborated with us bronies and maybe they wouldn't have made this crap. Oh well, at least it's centered around music. That's the only plus with this movie in my opinion.

I am excited. I loved the first one, and the fact that this one centers around music makes it that much better. I loved the first Equestria Girls's songs, and I look forward to hearing what songs they come up with for this one.

I've learned to not trust previews, though. Previews tend to focus on the things that they think will help sell tickets and not what the story is actually about.

I agree and disagree with ya. Yeah, the first movie was....okay to say the least. I liked the songs but that's pretty much it. The second one is, in my eyes, pretty much a re-make of the first, except new bad guy, glam rock mane six, and new music.

Frankly, that would have turned the film into a cess pool of fandom references and bad writing. If they did do that, they would need to turn to writers that are in the fandom and wouldn't just service the fans.

Sorta, except it had a storyline that wasn't one the fandom made up. I can't imagine what would have happened if the fandom wrote the movie, but you all know there'd be a few sexual innuendos, ships, classic fandom references everywhere, and half bad writing.

Literally, take out the sexual innuendos, and that's pretty much what the first film boiled down to.

O_O Okay, forget everything I said. If that became a part of the movie (which I know it won't), then I will run to the store wherever it is at and buy a copy. If it isn't, hopefully some animator will do that badass sequence as a spoof or something of that nature.
