Hi! I'm PONE_NINE! or PON9 or bleh. I used to make music as Blaze Chaser but since there isn't enough artists with that name I decided to create a new alias! I'd like to be a chair from IKEA and I pretty much make what I want. I don't aim for any particular style which is bad -_- so yeah. I'm gonna copy the first guy on this thread:

- I use Ableton Live 9 Suite (yes actually bought it)
- I use plugins like NI Massive and reFX Nexus 2(yes I bought that as well...) and for my mastering I use iZotope Ozone 5.

- Have a degree in making Tea

I can't believe I never knew about this thread until now. I don't think I've ever introduced myself here, so:

Hello everyone! My name is Max, and I musically operate under the alias 'Esttel'.
- I am 17 years old, living in Hong Kong
- I am half Japanese/half British
- Looking to study medicine at university in the UK starting this September

As for my music:
- I use Ableton as my DAW, with a bunch of free VSTs
- I have never produced music before, and just started late last year for the first time
- Therefore, I suck a little
- I want to try and produce electronic stuff in the future, but right now orchestral/soft is my jam
- My entire music library consists of brony music, so a LOT of you are probably on my ipod
- So many of you inspire me, for real

I think that's pretty much it for me! I always love meeting new people, so I'd be chuffed in any of you replied to this or whatever!

Am currently a DJ for Celestia Radio

Hey everybody!

Not sure how detailed this is meant to be so sorry if I waffle on a bit. My name's ExplodingPonyToast (or EPT for short). I've been around the fandom since 2011 and I've been learning how to make electronic music since mid-2012. I've lurked around some parts of MLR for a while, and made an account late last year, but only now actually gotten around to posting as I figured I might as well. :)

I'm a moderator of the Australian forum Bronies Australia and I'm an administrator of the Ponies at Dawn music group that's been releasing albums to help other Australian brony artists get to PonyCon (our Aussie equivalent to BronyCon in the US) alongside Camsy and a couple of others. Way back at the end of 2011 I organised a top 100 of MLP music for that year with Sellyme that was hosted on Everfree Radio, seems like an age away now but it was definitely a lot of fun.

As for my personal music creation I use FL Studio (recently upgraded from version 10 to version 11, definitely a bit sleeker-looking) to produce my stuff. My first track Vinyl's First Scratch got onto one of the very first MotD posts on EqD back when a larger amount of people actually looked at those, but since then I've been pretty under the radar in terms of my actual music. I'm improving, but as music making is a hobby that comes a very firm second behind other life things, that improvement tends to come relatively slowly.

So yeah, I think I've included all I need to, but feel free to ask anything else if you want to. :P

The Rariot hath arrived!

After some time of lurking a long time ago, and fueled by a few pints of "liquid inspiration", I've finally decided to pony up and make an account.

I've been looking to get back into music for a while, and this fandom has been an inspiration since I started watching MLP all the way back in early 2011.

I don't have much formal training other than some singing lessons. Most of my musical experience comes from being vocals for hardcore/metalcore band I was in with my friends during college, and then briefly playing accompanying keyboard for a post-rock band (also friends of mine). Don't read much into that post-rock bit. I can find my way around a keyboard, but that's about it. I can't play any other instruments, though years in a band did help with my understanding of how music is composed and the like. So, I got that going for me...

I'm hoping to write, create, sing, scream rock stuff--though I'm primarily a vocalist since that's mainly what I've had the most experience doing. I've had a number of ideas for in terms of songs/remixes/covers for a while, but I'm struggling with the whole "making music that doesn't sound awful" thing. :D

I've been messing around with Ableton Live 8 for a little bit, but it's pretty sporadic. I have extremely basic knowledge when it comes to DAWs. Hopefully that's something I can learn more about while I'm here! :D
