Any ideas what could be wrong?

I can log in just fine from Firefox, so it must be a local issue of some kind. Try clearing your cache or cookies or something.
Ah, that cleared the problem. Don't know why I didn't try that first. Thanks muchly.

Say, is it normal that spoiler titles can only contain one word? I cannot even circumvent this limitation with quotation marks.

well if you're spoiling a video you do spoiler=video

if you are doing text you do
Spoiler text:
spoiler=text

those are the two single-words you would use......

I believe the issue is that he can't get a spoiler with more than one word.
Spoiler Its possible though:
Some symbols just can't be used; note how I didn't put in an apostrophe in the spoiler.

I also found out while previewing this post that if your post contains multiple spoilers, and one of them contains illegal characters, all of them won't work. That kinda sucks... And there's a limitation to four working spoilers. If you add a fifth, though, I find that only the last four will be active (I expected them to fail too).

Well i use "video" or i use "text". I can guarantee you if you use those 2 fields that it should work. No point digressing from those 2 and using sentences and such if you dont need to.

Would it be possible to introduce a 'Status' rewards system. Another forum I'm on has this and it works as a way to know who you can trust more. Basically after being on the forum for a year you get a star. Having enough of your posts marked as helpful you get another star. We can come up with more things that will get you a star, most forums have 5 or 6 of these things. Just a thought that's all.

I'd like an upvote system (preferably n/a to off topic forums) where people upvote helpful posts and you accumulate some kind of score. No reward but bragging rights I suppose, but it would be kinda neat.

This works in conjunction with my idea :)

That's been in discussion for a long while already though. People have wanted a rep/karma/upvote/thanks/trust system for quite some time.
I think karma would still be the best. I've seen one forum on which you can upvote/downvote someone and have to include a valid reason. That makes the system better imo.

Oh and custom member titles.

I'm seeing an increasing amount of Dropbox usage, myself included, so a way to embed that would be nice. It's not super important because that'd save just one click, but it would make things more convenient. Plus, unfortunately, I get the sense that a few people are deterred from giving feedback if they have to go the extra step to follow a link.

We've recommended this to MLR's web developer. Not sure if theyve done anything with it.

I dont think dropbox has an embed capability as far as ive seen. Has anyone seen any place where its coded to work that way? They only allow downloads and music streams right from their cloud via their own html page.

Can I just say that it'd be neat as all heckie to have actual pony emoticons? (also our current set of emoticons is the absolute worst of the default sets do something aaaaaaaaa)

I would also like to go back to something else we've talked about more than a year ago (holy cows time flies). Custom user titles and karma.

I take it that with the server move, the tech guys behind MLR's workings have changed too? So I thought I could bring this up and have more chance to get something done this time.

Anyone agree? Opinions? Will changes to the site be possible? (Also, on that note, the old Xand_Pony board style is still broken, can that one be fixed? I'd really like it to be)

There is no direct way for you to get your account removed by yourself. I'm not very surprised that you haven't gotten a reply yet. Have you sent a PM to Kyoga or Freewave yet? If anyone, one of them might just respond, I think. As far as I know they're the most active on here still.

Nothing to do but hope for their reply.

Is it just me, or are the anti-spam measures falling behind here?

I know this entire forum has fallen quiet, but practically all posts of the last two months or so were from alleged IT service spammers from India.
