What does your Desktop look like?

Sports, politics, movies, videogames, questionable hobbies, photos from your family vacation, etc. Talk about stuff that isn't ponies or music. But do try to stay on topic and respectful of alternate opinions.

You have the same picture repeated five times;

Some wesleys are better than others. Having best wesley there more than once reassures me regarding my place in the universe. Makes me feel safe.
That said, I admire your eagle-eyedness.

Here's mine. I don't use the img code because the img bbcode here is not set to resize images down to fit and my resolution is 6240x1080.

Two screens, one which is way too small compared to the other, and a glorious background.

Oh, and a lot of programs I never use.

Use this to make background work correctly or have different images for different screens. It's what do at the office for my wallpapers. There is nothing to install just run it from the zip if you want, I keep it on my flash drive.

i thought you could set multiple monitors to act as the same screen? or is that only for certain display drivers?

Are you talking about mirroring one monitor on to another? I will show you what I mean I need to get on my laptop real quick.

Okay now lets say that your set up looks like this http://i.imgur.com/pYz4kO2.jpg, and your wallpaper will look like this http://i.imgur.com/09V2q0w.png, and if your like me your eye will start twitching and your your teeth will be grinding.

Now say you have an image that you want as your wallpaper for the second screen it would look like this http://i.imgur.com/eJsskut.jpg.

And in the end it would look like this. http://i.imgur.com/QK0xGmR.jpg

Understand?

i wasnt talking about mirroring im talking about using multiple monitors as extended displays but act as if its one monitor so you can set resolutions in video games to like 5000x1080 or something like that. ive seen it done before im just not sure if it requires certain video cards or software

OH THAT! Yea that is card based. Then it depends on the game its self. Then it depends on the resolution of the screens being used (they have to be the same). I would go insane if I used all my screens to play a game considering the setup looks like this

Me too. But you use what you got, when you can't afford to buy something.
