I wanna be prepared just in case.

If you're talking about fund distribution, I was funded by Balloon Party last year, so I could probably give you some information. =]

Obviously, the funds are distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis. How the application went last year was you calculated the entire cost of your trip (travel, hotel, food, etc.), entered the amount of money you have saved right now (I think min. $200), and entered how much you need. Then they'll try to give you the money you need. If you needed, they also booked you a hotel room with other musicians who need one.

BP got a lot of money last year, so pretty much they paid for my hotel room! Don't think they'll get as much money this year, and I think funding will be different. I don't think Circuitfry has an official application out yet, so keep your eyes peeled. =]

But really, I kinda wanna go to Bronycon. I just realized that I don't need to go to a Calc class, so I really want to make it to Bronycon because im gonna be bored all summer. Also cause I've made a new live set, so that would be really good, I've got some guitar in it.

But I wish I could play EQLA, it's so close to my house, and feels like it would be really cool. Last time I went the whole party was great.

i hope you're joking. cut circuit some slack, seriously. i'd like to see any of you complaining host an album to this magnitude. sure, the constant extension of the deadline was a slight nuisance, but it's nothing to get worked up about. this is an album for a community of fans who like a show about colorful horses. seriously, lighten up. all of you. from the trash talking i've seen in the skype chat(s), to this thread, to tumblr, to everywhere. the lot of you are conducting yourselves like children. circuit doesn't deserve this, and i most certainty don't enjoy reading it.

As much as I know everyone will hate me for saying this, I would actually rather they took another month then rushed to release the album. Last time some truly great songs slipped through the cracks and with even more submissions this time, I can see the same thing happening again.

I actually agree fully, because no matter what anyone says, there's no way anyone can thoroughly listen to 200+ songs in like a week and make a solid judgement on all of them. I'd rather that the judges just took their time so the final product is a solid album.

After having the great opportunity of interviewing Circuit last month and getting able to know him better, I have to say that he is an incredible guy and very hardworking to be putting up with this workload of his. Regardless of when this album comes out, the fact still stands that he is working as quickly as possible and that this is for the benefit of everyone. So please, just chill guys. It'll be here in due time.
