Recommended Sample Packs?

Postby SpiderPubes » 13 Apr 2013 00:01

Every artist uses them, and here's hoping to this being the right section.
But in this thread we post sample packs we use and what for? Sometimes it's hard to find good samples, sometimes you don't know where to start or you might be looking for some new samples to play around with, you never know a new sample pack can inspire you to try something new even if it's a different kick or snare, a different melody to take inspiration from or a sound you'd like to rework into your own:

Personally, I use Vengeance Future House Volume 2 for my kicks (Pretty much every genre), Vengeance Essential Club Sounds 3 for my fx and because I'm incredibly lazy I just use the first Vengeance Dubstep snare in the pack because I'm too lazy to make my own snares at the moment.
What about you guys? ^_^

I was thinking of using the vengeance special sounds to make bangers like Zomboy or maybe the old man talking about the glitch mob not being musicians because they don't play the guitar.

Any sample pack in this thread is good, but if you're looking to spend money, you can get the vengeance sample packs and prime loops. Also, it doesn't really matter what special effects you have or use, it won't sound good if you can't mix it good.

I use samples for individual drum parts and FX.

Never use for basses and synths and shit.

Yeah, but not using sample packs for basslines and synths should be common sense, lol. Although you wouldn't think so with people who do use melody and chord progression samples :P

Just picked up these drum samples for around $15. Absolute bargain, there's like 500 of them and they're all really good
