<Pony> <Remix> Smile (daks (Disco House) Remix)

Hey folks, I just recently completed my latest Pony remix, it's a Disco House interpretation of "Smile!" I'm posting this here, first off just to share it with my fellow musicians, but to also get some feedback if you notice anything that you think I could improve on for next time! For a little more info, here's a copy/paste from the video description:

When I first heard "Smile" I knew I was going to make a remix of it, I just didn't know exactly how I was going to do it. I've been on something of a disco house kick as of late and I wanted to find a way to integrate that with this remix, so I began looking for samples that would fit with the chords of the song (which is what I did for my remix of Giggle at the Ghosties). As I worked on the track like that though nothing I was coming up with sounded any good, and the process of finding single chords throughout tons of songs is arduous and time-consuming so I thought "how could I do a disco house track, but still maintain as much of "Smile" as possible?" That's when the idea hit me, build a structure that sounds good out of whatever song I wanted, then mix "Smile" into that structure. This is the result of that experiment and I must say I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

Wow really like the French/Disco House feel. The vocal's dont fit perfectly, but they work overall pretty well, and the groove is fantastic (reminds me of all the great Roule tracks).

Yeah I had some problems with the vocals being just slightly off key, but it was close enough that I figured I could get away with it. I figure this time is practice and my next attempt to do something like this will be even better.

Also, yeah I got featured on Equestria Daily, which was awesome. Really warm response on the track so far too.

yeah its the best Smile version I've heard so far. the vocals by nature are just a little off-key so you got it as close as anyone could really.
