Oooh, love the work on the harmony in the melody

Interesting adaption, while maintaining the original song for the most part you've tweaked smaller things and added in plenty of your own interpretation of the song to make for an experience that is definitely the original, but with your own characteristics in it. Nice work.

Glad I'm not the only one on the chiptune scene here.

This is so strange to listen to though - your snares sound so clear. I can hear a square pitch bend and some noise being used, but it's so weird how it's brought together to sound so clean (or you could be using/emulating DPCM or something). The arpeggios starting at 0:49 have the strangest duty cycle - is there some superposition there?

At 1:11 it sounds as if you've got the lead's pulse width modulation to bring the duty cycle down to 0% (or up to 100%) - I'm guessing it was unintentional? (At 2:15 this 0% duty cycle actually sounds in-beat and quite cool though. Hnnnnnnnng)

Also, needs more 50% duty cycle echo.

But I love this how it sounds already! I'm just curious.

The snare and kick sounds are one shots taken from the some c64 song. They are pitched and compressed as normal non 8 bit sound.
What's means "duty cycle"? Is it pulse width modulation?
Lead at 1:11 is just rompled, not editable lead of sid expansion to the Nexus.
"Arpeggios" at 0:49 has two layers, one for arpeggio, second with the same notes for clean sound, which slightly blurs the arpeggio.

I'm glad you liked it :)

Duty cycle is a percentage which determines how much of the square wave is peak (ie. at the highest point in the wave). If the duty cycle is 0%, this means that 0% of the wave is peak, which means the wave is flat, which means it is silent (the same thing occurs for duty cycle 100%).
