No WIPs to show at the moment, but I'm working on the following:
- a remix of Want It Need It by Jeffthestrider
- an untitled (possibly djentstep) collab with Triple_B
- 'Popular, Become' (working title), a remix of Becoming Popular
Youtube - Soundcloud - Tumblr

Here. My Rainbow Dash song, unmixed. I also need to add shit like a few more spoken samples, esp in the breakdown, and I might actually make it shorter, or I might not. I'll probably also change that stupid half-arsed ending. And add a few crashes here and there.

For those of you who might have heard Winter Jazz Up and/or My Jazzy Pony, I've decided to continue with them and hopefully remix ALL the pony songs into [smooth] Jazz (or similar, like Hush Now, Bossa Now) eventually. I have Baked Jazz (Cupcakes) and Becoming Popular in the works as well, but At the Gala is my main project at the moment.

Still needs a lot of work, and it'll probably end up in a different program with better sounds when it's fully re-composed. But, here's a peek!

Another eurotrance song for Smile Vol. 2. I was going to do metal, but I don't think the quality is good enough.

Working on a dubstep track with some chopped singing Twilight Sparkle.

Also, I'm writing a classical piece that will hopefully get performed by the U Miami trombone choir. So that's pretty awesome. Don't have a sample of it right now though. =]

As for me, I'm working on Giggle at the Ghosty happy hardcore. Amateur level though for me, first track I've worked on for more than a few hours.

I am considering doing a whole progressive rock concept album about Celestia and Luna. Do you think that it would be worth the effort?

TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF THIS!!!
Seriously, learn everything you can about the trombone and ALL techniques it can utilise! Opportunities like this aren't common, might as well use it to its full potential!

No idea to be honest, do you think it'll be worth it? And will you enjoy it?

Well, it might be worth it for the learning aspect that comes with the project, as I've never attempted anything of that scale before. I'm just curious as to whether anyone would listen to it.

So far I really haven't made any "pony-music", but I have some ideas to develop into a full song.
I'm not thinking about remixing any of the songs of the shows, but finding something to make a song about or from (sampling, themes...).

Anyway, I haven't received any feedback to my songs on SoundCloud. These aren't really pony-related, but I'd very much appreciate if you told me your opinions on these.

I made this on eight grade for a soundtrack of a game we made as a school project. However, it ended up being an experimental engine demo rather than a complete game and this track was never used.
http://soundcloud.com/bigappledoom/troll69

Some stuff from last year. Some ideas being finally used on a song.
http://soundcloud.com/bigappledoom/orange-sky

Actually a "WIP". I've improved this since it was uploaded.

Anyhow... Your songs are quite nice. Not something I listen to everyday so I may not be the perfect guy to judge them.

And as for what I'm doing... I'll drop here a tiny happy hardcore thingie soon. I can't find much time for music nowdays because school's getting busy and I also took up programming so whatever spare time I have is shared between studying c++ and attempting to make beats. :/

I'm trying to do a house/trance thing, but I it keeps turning out DnB aaah, has anyone ever had that problem, when you start the project on 135BPM and trough tweaking you somehow end up at 185? It's..eh..I already done DnB so I'm trying to diverse it a bit :D

I'm really liking Mingus' project, it's gonna be beast.

I'm not even looking for perfect judgement, just some personal opinions and feedback - perfect or not.

I don't listen to stuff like this either - I just make something while being inspired by some random sounds (or nice melodies). I don't even know in which genre or style my songs belong to.

Finally! I was worried the classical writers were fizzling out! Nice job, have a think about things like 7th, 9th and 13th chords, as some bits in this I thought would have felt far more interesting a bit more 'cluttered,' so to speak...really nice though!

Also, ooh Ponykart trailer coming soon! Awesome!!

I decided to write my first song ever, even though I know next to nothing about making music. So here, have a 30 second WIP with the most generic chord progression ever and a bunch of preset instruments because I have no idea how to use my FL Studio demo god I'm such a noob.

http://soundcloud.com/sidnoea/first-song-ever-super-short

Yeah. I don't even know why I decided to write in this style. I'm into house/electro stuff, and it's much easier to find those kind of sounds. But uh... I guess it's good practice. I guess.

This is very good, you should keep working on it :)

Doing orchestral/piano/strings solo is much easier then doing Electronica, and I think it's a very good practice for doing the faster stuff :)

My little first orchestral
Started out as a tune I found when playing around on my keyboard, so recorded that then built on it.

I think I did that thing I do when I layer too many melodies and it gets cluttered. The piano should be more dominant but less complicated towards the end. This is also of course nowhere near finished. I want to make it at least 2:30 by the time it's finished. THEN I can start to worry about mastering.
