Another music thing done for Sci's second competition. You should totally go and vote for my entry!!!! (this is a joke)

I wrote a theme for Applejack (and possibly the rest of the Apple family too). Being used to writing boss themes, I thought this would be easy... it wasn't. I'm still getting to grips with FL. I really need some properly good sounding instruments.

It's hilarious cause this fits neither character.

Currently in the process of uploading to Youtube and sending to EqD...

Ha, you're right, it doesn't really fit Applejack, but I thought it was a great piece none-the-less! I liked your choice of sounds, they worked well with the piece overall!

A doctor of dissonance.

RIGHT ON!!!!
This is wonderful, although not very fitting of AJ. I think writing for AJ just comes down to instrumentation choices. Seeing as how we all associate her with country and cowboys and even (if you would forgive this term) "hillbilly" music.

The challenge with the contest is nopony is really themed for battle, except for maybe Nightmare Moon and Rainbow Dash. So, yeah, it seems to come down to instrumentation. Electric guitar for RD, Fiddle/Banjo for AJ, cello for Octavia, etc.

Oh, I didn't notice all this feedback! Cheers.

Also I'm glad you agree that it doesn't fit - I was trying to go for the sort of cliché western battle at noon feel, but I guess I shot and missed. Or at least shot in the wrong direction.

Also the instruments sound incredibly muddy so I probably won't be doing this again.

You rolled a 1 on a d20: Interrobang the mage shoots a bolt of arcane magic at the beholder, but his hand flies in a different direction missing the beholder, brutally striking and killing a butterfly for *rolls d8* 7 + 1 damage.

Wow I love it definitely
It reminds me Didier Marouani's Space with the first part
then there's a 90's House piano staccato
and then there's 8bit!
I love mixing different styles
