<WIP><Original><Pony> What am I?

Postby Equestrinox » 26 Mar 2012 15:32

After starting this whole music business 2 months and putting a nooby song which probably left a bad impression, here's a hopefully to be dubstep WIP featuring my first attempts at vocal glitching :3

I'm also stuck on the drop part so if anyone wants to help out or make it a collab then hit me with a message.

Hit this 13 year old kid with the best criticism that you got, I need to learn.

I really like the instrument (whatever it is) that starts at 0:17. But that aside, the vocals (imo) seemed a bit disorganized. I dunno how you'd fix that, but it's just a bit messy. Other than that though, I like the way it progresses, and the atmospheric sound it carries with it. I would just suggest that when you do get the drop down, don't change the feel of the song too much like so many other dub wub songs tend to do. Klaypex is really good at doing this, so check them if you wanna see what I mean.

Also, I'm actually interested to know, what DAW did you use to make this?

Just recently started using Ableton Live, FL wasn't cutting it for me :/
