Wow, this song fits your voice perfectly. You sure have been putting out a lot of tracks recently, and it's paying off. I would love to collab with you at some point in the future, your voice is great.

Ooh, another track to review!
Even though you didn't read my last critique :'(

I'm not sure if you want critique of the accompaniment as well so I'll just say for that most part it does its job (i.e. supporting the singer) admirably but I did notice a couple of little things like the piano VSTI not being the greatest and the bass line sticking out a tad too much at 0:55ish and 1:41. However, these are very minor things.

At 1:00, the word "proves" sounds like it's supposed to rise the same way it does at 1:40, but it doesn't. That might have been intentional, in which case ignore what I said.

At 1:22 there's sudden change in dynamics. I personally think it might sound better if there was a gradual increase in volume leading up to it rather than a jump. Either that or really embrace the fact that you're changing the dynamics. Basically, you want to say "hell yeah, it's gonna get louder here and then even louder there before building up to the BIG FINISH!" I hope that makes sense because this is supposed to be a character expounding upon her favorite subject, right? She's so gung ho about it that she can't contain herself - she just has to sing about it and she doesn't care how much ruckus she raises (again, I don't know if that actually made sense. I don't critique vocal performances very much).

In all honesty, not every note from 1:49 onward hit the mark perfectly. Also, at 1:30 the lyrics suggest that the singing be more...insouciant ("couple of fights" - Lyra is presumably referring to the the devastation of the world wars and casually dismissing them) and I didn't quite get that sense from the track, but that really just falls under interpretation so feel free to disregard that completely. From about 2:00 onward it sounds like you're rushing yourself a little at not slowing down quite enough from 2:10 until the end. I mean, this is all far better than I am capable of at singing (and you do hit your marks quite well at the 2:13 or so mark), but I thought it might help to suggest these.

I hope at least some of this helps and that I didn't come across as overly critical because I think this can really become a valued cover of the song. And, I agree with Conduit, with such a unique voice you should collaborate with us more. It's a great way to make friends.
