Meh I could try and do something Hardstyle-ish a la Kent Winston's track "Do You Feel The Life?"
I'm not used to Hardstyle though. Just Hardcore.
I'll try. I like Hardstyle (though I love Lento Violento, Dubstyle and especially Oldschool Hardstyle a lot more), and even though Ponytraxx sounds like a hella obvious name, I like the idea a lot. So why not try :P

Still wanna know if I could by any chance do Hardcore xD I don't have my hopes high though. I tried xD

Hardcore as in Angerfist Hardcore/Gabber, or as in Hard Trance like Gammer or Darren Styles?
Either I would love to expand to. Future World vibe or a MOH vibe. XD
Masters of Ponycore. sounds good.

Edit: just listened to the track you said up top, and it seems more in on the gabber side, and also, the kick is realllllly weak. I was thinking about something like this:

But still softer gabber would be acceptable. Anything that falls into hardcore. I'll even accept Terror or speedcore, if it's not too oppressive.

MARRY ME ALREADY.

On the serious side, fix'd Happy Hardcore into Hard Trance because Gammer isn't Happy Hardcore but Hard Trance. I do understand why you call that Hardcore since there are pretty much 3 genres that can be called Hardcore xD

In that case, SIGN ME UP ALREADY I GOT TONS OF HARDCORE, TERROR, SPEEDCORE THAT I MUST DO SOMETHING WITH :D
(Oh and yea, Hardcore as in Angerfist-like Hardcore, sorta... Don't wanna call it Angerfist-like though, sounds like I'm basing it on them which is not at all the case.)

Gammer is UK hardcore. Hard Trance is stuff like Dark By Design
Hardtrance:

UK hardcore:

Main difference is UK hardcore is bouncy, fast (160-180 bpm) 4 on the floor with an offbeat bass and cheesy melodies. Hard Trance sits around 145 and uses walking basslines and has a darker sound to it.

EDIT: The "angerfist-type" hardcore you're talking about is often referred to as Hardcore House or Hardcore Gabber. If you dig Angerfist I'd suggest you check out Neophyte, Tieum, The Viper, DJ Mad Dog, DJ AniMe, Furyan, Nosferatu, Unexist, Hellsystem, Evil Activities, Partyraiser and Tha Playah.

Well, I say it's more Hardstyle-ish.

Who is DJ Midli?

First off: Learn how to beatmatch, PLEASE.

Second: Wow. Dj Thera (yes, the labelboss of Theracords, THAT guy) just sent me this video over Facebook with the comment "Nice rave man":
http://youtu.be/yhSSOANnsPk?t=43m32s

He knows that track, because I visited his studio and he used it to show me how to mix and master properly.

Apparently Yuna-X sent it to him and he saw me in the tracklist.

Thank you very much, I won't stop hearing about this as long as I'll know him... Damn. xD

Made that really quickly, could use some more high/bass but heeh, doesn't matter much.

https://soundcloud.com/diceofficial/frequencerz-bitch-dices-remake

Close enough ? :3

EDIT : I should probably mention that this was mostly an attempt at reproducing the lead from Bitch, as for the melody itself, i got it almost right but i'm aware i got a very small detail wrong in the part where the kick pitches up at the highest.

What about hardtek (Floxytek!), and some older hardcore tracks that uses some sort of reversebass like Angerfist - Pissin' Razorblades?

IMO Angerfist, Neophyte and Tieum (My fav definitely) are the best in the Hardcore "Gabber" scene, then there's drokz, ophidian, and evil activites at some extent (Never Fall Asleep is gold)

Woah, you're lucky. xD

Amused by the fact that he doesn't seem to mind/give a damn about ponies.

yeah.... Fiesta Equestria. Proving that Texas + Raves = disaster. Probably one of the worst "raves" in brony history, but it's pretty cool you got your track played there. (i guess?) Isaac actually posted a link to this on his facebook and I almost died laughing at how badly organized the whole thing was.

Yeah. It was that bad.

Edit: Also, proving that more cons =/= more fun.

That sounds like it's getting out of hand.
Not good.

I'm sure that it doesn't end with just Isaac. I bet Chris One is first to copycat.

I felt like working on some Subground. So I did.

Here, have some:

https://soundcloud.com/djnnr/kicktest-distorted-lead

EDIT: Listening back over the monitors now (I couldn't last night). I was severely lacking mid-range (esp low mids), and it needed some serious stereo enhancing so it wouldn't clash with the kick. So here's version 2 of what I uploaded last night:

You're missing quite some punch, and the tail makes it sound like more of a lead/screech thing than a kick.

I'd definetely use it as a 'sound' if I were you, just not as a kick. Just crop off the punch and chop it up to make all sorts of cool sounds, or reverse it.

Reversing things is fun.

I agree with Diss Order, this could be used for something else but not as a kick and I like the Idea of turning it into a reverse bass. If you need some help with kicks I used a couple of really long but really effective tutorials on Youtube that helped me out a lot with kicks.

Here are the 2 that helped me out the most

Nice track, but I swear that robot-like sound was ripped from a zatox (or other producer's) track. May not be, but it sounds exactly like it. Will be in the next Great And Powerful Magic Show.

Thanks :p
To make that robotic-like sound i took 10-15 different samples (some i found on the net and some i made made myself, like faild kicks and screeches) and the cut out parts from then and just layering and mixing it togheter.

If you want a good tutorial, Pyntago recorded the kickdesign masterclass I went to by Audiofreq. There's a part 2 floating around somewhere too.

First part is in Dutch, but it's only a few seconds.

Before I say anything, I feel like I should point out that it's 2:48am here (=tired subhoofer) and I only listened to your kick on my headphones and not my monitors.

First of all, your kick is clipping a lot. A lot. And not clipping as in 'distortion' (well, that too, obviously). No, it's +5,5db clipping.

Also, there's some stereo width in your kick. Not a lot, but it's there. You want kicks to be 100% mono.

There also seems to be a wobble in the sub of your tail causing some weird dynamics.

Last but not least: There is no clear punch. There's a 'click' but not actually a proper punch, at least in my opinion. And as far as I could hear, the punch that's actually there is the kind that would leave people with bleeding ears when played at a festival at 110db. Though I could be wrong about this... Like I said, headphones and exhaustion. :P
