Brony Radio Play

Postby DerpyGrooves » 18 Jul 2011 23:43

Sup everpony. Uh, I just wanted to test the waters and see if anypony is interested in putting together some sort of MLR radio play. I mean we're all musicians, obviously, and I'm willing to bet a lot of us are willing voice actors/writers/producers. It might be fun!

As far as a plot is concerned, I was thinking that Twilight would cast some variety of spell that backfires and ends up with everypony gender-swapped. This would obviously be ideal, considering the fact that the vast majority of bronies are, well, bros. Anyway, I'm just wondering if anyone else is interested. :)

I'd love to, but I have a terrible voice and my writing skills are just as bad. What do producers do?

Supposedly stitch everything together and make sure the whole project is copacetic.

Oh, yikes, that may be too much of a responsibility for me. Sigh.

Any other way to get involved?

hurr

You can count me in for that. Though my usual genre of music won't do for a radio play. Unless the mane six go to a DJ Pon-3 concert. :P

The idea is very good, but I think it would be better if instead of doing our own radio we would do some sort of a weekly (or more frequent) show in Celestia Radio. I am willing to help if I only knew how or what to help :D

Love the idea! Always wanted to try my hand (voice?) at voice acting, as opposed to just acting.

I guess, I could also help writing and editing!

I'm loving this idea. I have a big booming announcer esque voice that i'm sure you could put some use too.

I lol'd.

Yeah, sure, I'm game. If everyone here's too chicken to do Rainbow Dash, I'll fill that in.

Do you have a script thrown together, Grooves?

I've always aspired to be a writerperson, so I'd be willing to help out with that if needed.

Also I'd do voices I suppose, even though that's hardly my strongsuit.
