We here at Pinkamena Party want to invite you to take a trip with us and the one and only Derpy, A.K.A. Muffins, AKA Ditzy Doo, AKA Derpy Hooves. Let the MCii Set the Scene……
Derpy wanders into a club, being promised glitch, scene, early aughts music, as well as fresh baked muffins! Her favorite when she was a filly! However, music genres and nostalgia become warped over time and this...does *not* sound quite like what she remembers...
Familiar-seeming vocals and melodies have become fast and broken-sounding. A piercing screech in a song shocks Derpy while she was on her way over to the snack table (with the muffins!), jolting her forwards, sending her right into the crowded dance floor! Surrounded by waves of ponies dancing wildly and sporadically, she's unable to sneak back out (Deprived of Muffins :c). Maybe by going with the flow she can squeeze her way back out of this scary place (and back to the Muffins)! Or maybe it gets her into the groove and she starts enjoying the insanity after all…

PINKAMENA PARTY: IT'S ALL OR MUFFIN!11!!! XD SQUEE!11!!!
Scene Revival Fusion is the name of the game for this Dancefloor. We are Hardcore at heart here at Pinkamena Party and we are fusing the Glitchy sounds of Scene Revival and other sounds of the aughts! Think MySpace, big hair, Gir Hoodies, early internet meme culture, big scene hairdos, kandi bracelets, that classic Hot Topic goth look. Think digital glitched visuals, blinding colors, black and white checkerboards, vivid neon colors with black accents, Neocities, etc, etc.
Some genres and styles to draw inspiration from: UK Hardcore, Hyperpop, Nintendocore, Dariacore, mid-00’s pop instrumentals, emo/screamo, Glitchcore, Metalcore, Digital Hardcore, Aggrotech. Check out these playlists for some examples and more:

Remember though, we are a *core compilation so try to fuse your Scene inspiration with the sounds that have defined the Pinkamena Party vibe!!
All usual rules apply:
- try to be influenced by the theme of glitchy Scene Revival, with or without Derpy Hooves.
- no songs with bigotry / hate speech / racism / sexism / rape / content involving minors / other things like that. gore and general horniness and such is fine as usual~
- please try to limit yourself to two tracks per person or three if the tracks are short! be courteous with length ;3c
