Based on a few comments, questions and suggestions, we have changed the name of this album. Don't say we don't care!

This is to be our Applejack themed album, parodying Enter Shikari's album The Mindsweep on their self-managed label Ambush Reality.
This time around we're looking to get some strong, powerful music that stands up loudand proud. Not necessarily "hard"; that's already been done, but music with impact and vigor. That's less ambiguous of a theme than Mindscapes', but still leaves a little room for interpretation for you to play with. As usual, there are no genre restrictions!

But, as usual, there are some rules to follow:
NSFW submissions are discouraged.
All submissions must be under 15 minutes long.
All submissions must not be obnoxious/incredibly loud.
All submissions must be LOSSLESS (WAV, AIFF or FLAC) and uploaded to an external website.
All submissions must NOT be posted in public when done; work-in-progresses and teasers are accepted and encouraged.

Yeah, have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, I finally feel that I know enough to finally participate, on the other, there was the disaster that was last year. From the stories I've heard, you guys didn't do a pretty good job, let's hope you got a bit better at organizing this. Holding off until I recieve more information.

I think its worth pointing out that last time, there was a head change from Cfry to Exo. I think a lot of issues came up from that.

I would state that was definitely a HUGE part of the inital problem. Hopefully those in charge have learned from this rocky past and are better equipped for the sequel.

Wouldnt mind putting together a country themed track ;)

Hopefully a lot more "Wake Me Up" inspired tracks rather than "Cotton Eye Joe/Timber" tracks. lol

I have two tracks already planned for this: One a folk/rock track, and another straight bluegrass (I think I'll need a female vocalist for this one, though. It's a duet).

Aye, this be true. However, we do like to tell you guys to use your own common sense on this one. If you don't have any right now, 3 tracks will be the maximum :P

I'm sad about his leave as well, but in the end it was inevitable and it just wasn't possible anymore for him to be leading Balloon Party. I was on top of it pretty much the whole time and things happened.
2014 did teach me a lot about organizing this project. It's a lot. And for your information, I'm gonna be talking with Cfry about how he handled BronyQuest with BP and R&R at some point.
