Also, the drums are kind of bad. The kick needs to be fuller, and it sounds like there's no snare.

I realize it's empty, but I have to disagree on the drums. Any lower frequencies on the kick would muddy the entire track (trust me, I've tried), and there IS no snare, it's a clap. Like I said, I'm trying to make it chill. Adding a loud snare wouldn't help with that.

The lower frequencies on the kick are fine. It needs more higher frequencies, though. How many different kicks did you layer? I usually go with 4-5 (or in my latest track, I did eight or something).
If you want a relaxed clap, you should go with a different sample (like that chill snap that deadmau5 and Avicii both use). I have a bunch of better clap samples than that that I could hook you up with. Let me know if you want any, and I'll PM you.

I only have one kick sample in this one, but usually I layer two of them. I suppose I can look through and see if any of my samples have a nice high-end that will add to the kick.

As for clap samples, I scrolled through about half of the claps I have and didn't like any besides the one I'm using. I will say however that I'm starting to dislike the clap sample I have. So sure, if you could lend me some clap samples, that would be sweet :)

Tbh I haven't worked on my own track in days :3
But don't worry, I'll get it done :3

It's shaping up to be reminiscent of Superliminal by deadmau5 if anyone is a fan of him. I'm also considering doing an electro house track, cuz beatport is starting to inspire me :3

I'm probably going to start dipping into different influences for my track... A certain song by Thomas Giles (a.k.a. Tommy Rogers Jr. from Between the Buried and Me) has been floating around in my head a lot lately...
Youtube -- Soundcloud -- Tumblr -- Bandcamp (new album out!)

I can't feel my brain.

I'm still struggling to get my head around this problem. I've made something, but I think It's too hard. I'm not sure if I should keep working on it.

Also, If somebody wants to do a last minute collab, that would be great. I'm really having trouble coming up with a melody.

True, but I'm not going to be here from the 10th of December. Also, that offer is now void. I've finally got something decent.

EDIT: I've just finished a piece of trance-house and I'm so happy with it :D

I still need to master it, but I'd like to know now if this is going to make the final cut. Also, are we going to be allowed to release the tracks we make for this album as singles, or as part of our own albums?

I would also like to know the answer to this, please. I second the question.
If we're allowed to release them as singles, too, I'd like to finish the song in my signature, then use that as my submission.
I always enjoy doing something until I have to.
Good thing I'm supposed to be doing stuff other than music.

From my own album participation experience I can tell you that yes, you will be allowed to release your tracks separately (e.g. on youtube, soundcloud etc.) Releasing them in other albums, on the other hand, is something completely different.

Yeah, no album releases. Releasing the song itself is cool, just don't put it on an album or I will personally hunt you down and destroy you and everything you stand for :3
