Symphonic Choirs + WordBuilder FL Studio Problem

Postby Arkane » 02 Jun 2014 22:22

So, I just got EWQLSC with the WordBuilder. I'm trying to get it to sing "Regina Noctis Pro Nobis." Everything's fine and all until I render the thing. It doesnt sing what I typed. Rather, it repeats certain syllables making it sound like "Rerere gina noc tis!" I tried giving it a few syllables headstart but it seems that it does it to random syllables. I looked all over the internet for a fix to this but there seems to be none. My only solution is to find a work around.

Here's what they sound like:

I'm using FL Studio 10. My WordBuilder's version is 1.1.6.

I've never had the chance to play with Symphonic Choirs, but one thing you might have to do is split apart the syllables. If I remember correctly, EWQLSC doesn't change syllables based on a "switch" key like a lot of other wordbuilders, but instead by detecting differences in syllables based on time lengths. So if you have the notes playing faster than the time length you have set for the vowels, it could create this stuttering effect you are hearing as it tries to play the longer note in a shorter time frame.

Again, I don't know if this really is the problem, but try fiddling with the Time Editor and see if that fixes it.

((On a side note, what are you trying to say with your Latin, because it currently says "The Queen of The Night For(/By) Us... I'd personally recommend staying away from Google's Translate program to try to translate stuff into Latin, as its a decent start but it tends to really mess up grammar. If you want someone translated you can shoot me a PM - I've had 5 years of high school and AP Latin))
