Working on a 4-song series; mastering engineer needed

Postby Mesogears » 11 Jan 2014 18:00

(I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. I apologize if it isn't.)

Hi.

I'm currently working on a (relatively) small series inspired by the Season 4 premiere. Only the first track is complete, but I'd like to know if anyone is willing to master all 4 songs (they'll eventually make up an EP).

Thanks,
mg

P.S.: Here's a link to a download of the first track if anyone's interested.

If you have 4thImpulse on skype, he may be willing.

Otherwise I'd be willing to give it a go, although I haven't really gotten any fancy dancy titles or certificates that label me explicitly as "mastering engineer" (I doubt you'd find anybody active on this forum that does happen to have this. The only ones I'm aware of are 4th and I'm pretty sure Lav. I suppose Kyo and Nav may have a mastering engineer title thing).

I can do it but I have a lot on my plate so I might not be super fast. You could ask HMage, he's an audio engineer. :)

Nah, Lav has her own guy for mastering.

4th's actually done a couple of masters for me in the past, but he doesn't do them for free anymore.

That said, I'd be happy to have you.

Alright, sounds pretty good.

Nah, Lav has her own guy for mastering.
Really? I had no idea, haha.

She's an amazing master-er too, but as a general rule you always send your own songs to someone else.

Or, if you're going to master your own tracks, wait a week or longer before doing so.
